What do you have to be thankful for....

I meant to start this thread yesterday but I literally fell asleep at the keyboards due to some hellacious hours I am putting in at work. Since Thanksgiving has come and gone, I'm curious to know what everyone has to be thankful for. It can be anything.

Personally, I will be thankful when we ring in 2005. This has been a rough year for me personally for details I'd rather not get into.

Other things and more important are

I thankful I still have my family
I thankful I have a good job which I enjoy doing and like the people I work with
I thankful I have my health
I thankful I have a nice house
I thankful I enjoy a good relationship with my extended family
I am thankful that my kids are turning out the way they are
I am also thankful for my friends from all places

Those are the things that immediately come to mind. I will think of some later

I'm thankful for my job and that the Mr. has found a new one, finally
I'm thankful for my health (esp since I'm temporarily uninsured!)
For my home and nutty little family
For my sense of humor, which at times I (and the people who count on me) depend upon greatly
For dear friends, both here and elsewhere...

Think that about covers it! 😛

My turn!! My turn!!

I am thankful for:

My two wonderful children,in my custody, who have turned out pretty darn good since my divorce 8yrs ago

Im thankful for finding my soulmate and best friend at 41yrs of age and who has turned out to be the best man in my life and who, along with my children, is my life

Im thankful for my sisters who are always there when I need them

Im thankful for my job and my wonderful boss who turned out to be a friend as well

Im thankful for accepting my partner's passion and finding this forum full of awesome people.

The two most important things that Iam thankful for are first and foremost, that my mom and I both have our health, knock on wood. Second, my mom and her unending love and loyalty to me. She is my best friend in the world, and has been two parents to me in my father's absence.
Iam thankful that I have the basics. Food on the table, a nice roof over my head, a warm bed to sleep in, some decent clothes on my back, a bit of money to eat at reasonably priced places, and to see movies, and that I can thus far attend ball games in Philadelphia once a year.
Iam thankful that I have two close long term friends who have been support systems to me during my times of need, as I always am to them.
Iam thankful for my computer that I can work at in my room, and that enables me to come to TMF on a daily basis.
Those are my basic things that Iam thankful for. I desire a lot, and want to improve life a lot, but I realize that there are people out there who are worse off than me, and would probably love to have what I do.
