What do you think are big differences between male and female lers?

One thing I think guys are good at is to immobilize their lee. Because they are naturally strong they can make sure their Lee can't escape which makes tickles even more ticklish. It really can make tickling unbearable, which is a good thing (at least for the ler).

One thing I think girls are really good at is the mental aspect of tickling. It seems like they naturally know how to get into the head of their lee. They instinctively can build anticipation (physically and verbally) due to light/little tickle attacks and lots of verbal teasing while also building up the intensity. Lee's almost break before they really get to the intense tickles. Imagine the meltdown of the lee when the real tickle monster comes out in a female lee...

So, I'm curious what you find some qualities that springs out in specifically male or female ler's.

While there are exceptions in any generalization involving human beings, I think guys generally tickle harder and girls softer. This loose correlation even plays out in the majority of professionally produced tickling videos, where you'd assume lers would be coached in advance to some degree.

The difference is most obvious in videos that are majority f/f, and then a guy, typically the owner of the production company, steps in for a little m/f action at the end.

Like brotherted said, I've found that to largely be my experience as well. Not saying guys are better ticklers, but they do tend to be more enthusiastic/aggressive about it (again, not necessarily in a effective way)!

Many women I've played with make great lees but when we switch the desire to "get me back" isn't nearly as strong as I'd expected among most of them, even those that claim to be competitive in nature.

On the other hand I've met women that are confident and nuanced, so when they apply some heat to their tickling attack, it makes their tickling teasing actually mean something. Women I've met that are unfamiliar with the fetish also tend to end up being my best ticklers as they're open to learn/try new things, whereas the men I've played with feel like they already know what they're doing i.e. dig hard and fast into the pits, feet and belly (if that doesn't work, maybe you just aren't ticklish!? lol). In short, women seem like more inquisitive lers while men seem to be guided by an objective.

I think both are key.

In short, and excited male with patience, or a confident female with enthusiasm can be equally devasting ticklers (I'm happy to say I've encountered both)!

Some male lers are ruthless (TIB from Realtickling, Xavier from Frenchtickling) and some are more reserved. I do think that all male lers secretely want to push female lees further and further but for the sake of being a good person and keeping things fun, hold back quite a bit or play to the lee's comfort level - which is good. Obviously we don't want a woman to ever feel violated and the entire concept of being bound and tickled is by nature a very vulnerable act.

Female lers tickling female lees seem a lot more playful, like they're "playing with their food". There's a lot more of an enjoyable and fun energy between them.

Female lers tickling men are ruthless. I don't blame them one bit lol.

I don't watch m/m content nor have I ever tickled a man or been tickled by a man, so I can't speak to that.

That's a great point! I have some exposure to m/m and can confirm that men tickle other men a LOT more intensely than I've seen them tickle women.

As a man that tickles women who are usually new to the fetish, I usually never unleash the full floodgates of my tickling ability until establishing a strong repoire. Social chemistry and attraction dynamics are also worth considering.
A ler that is physically attracted to the lee may be more explorative and therefore effective, while a lee that is attracted to a ler might feel more open and vulnerable.

...Or it could be the opposite and someone might feel more ticklish and jumpy being tickled by a friend/stranger vs a potential romantic interest 😅
