Addendum to my post to that thread, where I wished for no worries...
We have a mechanic at the dealership, an expatriate Mancunian, who always has sage advice. He told me that ninety five percent of the things you worry about never happen, and the other five percent are inevitable, so it doesn't pay to worry about them, all in all, you should just stop worrying. He's right.
My most earnest Christmas wish is to put his theories into practice, since I've always been the biggest worrywort I know...
...and I admit that I sometimes wonder, as I view Limeoutsider's deadpan (and oft very witty) replies to these threads, what a truly happy Limeoutsider would be like...would something actually be lost?
