I want good health and lots of friends. Nothing else matters.

I should have been more expilcit when I said I wanted money, I want my tuition paid. And your wish was cute oddjob, thanks
 
Addendum to my post to that thread, where I wished for no worries...
We have a mechanic at the dealership, an expatriate Mancunian, who always has sage advice. He told me that ninety five percent of the things you worry about never happen, and the other five percent are inevitable, so it doesn't pay to worry about them, all in all, you should just stop worrying. He's right.
My most earnest Christmas wish is to put his theories into practice, since I've always been the biggest worrywort I know...

...and I admit that I sometimes wonder, as I view Limeoutsider's deadpan (and oft very witty) replies to these threads, what a truly happy Limeoutsider would be like...would something actually be lost?

I want people to stop thinking they have to fill the bloated coffers of Wal-Mart/Radio Shack/Ikea/Toys'R Us/Circuit City/Sears/Borders in order to justify Christmas.

money so that i can buy the people in my life the things they want...like the flannel sheet my mom wants..the lathe my dad wants to do wood turning...the leap frog activity table for my 1 year old nephew...some music for my sister and the john deere train for my older nephew...and 100 dollar gift card to my best friend so she can buy adequate lighting for her new kitchen in the new house she shares with her family(her hubby,mom in law,her mom, her uncle and tentatively her grandma, 5 cats and 1 dog)...and something for my brother and his new wife(the clingy whiney,self absorbed creature..and those are her nice qualities)....anyways i just want everybody (friends and family) online and offline to be healthy and happy and to have a safe holiday season (that includes new year's too...no drinking and driving PLEASEEEEE)...otay that concludes the gg25 public service announcement...i now return you to the regularly scheduled thread.
