In long term relations, there's tolerance, support, but there's also possibilities of long term tension that can take a while to build before it gets to be too much. I was in a long term relationship for ten years. The first seven where great, but them last three years was a gradual decline. Shit happens. People grow apart. And yes, my ex thought tickling was great fun during courtship, but not to long after both names were on the mail box, she decided we were going to change that.
