And, what grinds my gears? Stupid people who think just because I'm black I want to rob them, or when I ask for the time, they act like they are surprised I know what time is.

"Do you know what time it is?"
"Oh, wow, you know what time is?"
"What?"
"I know what time it is...HAMMA TIME! Right?"
"I...don't know. Do you know what time the clock has?"
"Oh my god! He's gonna clock me! SOmebody call the cops!"
"Fuck this shit." I turn to leave.

I especially hate it when it's females who do this. People really don't know how much hatred I have in my little heart. Try as I might to be a kind person in real life, people and their idiotic notions of a person when they are just meeting them, get in the way.

It almost makes me want to become a discrimination lawyer. And sue the dollar signs off of the bank.

1) These new traffic lights. Used to be on simple timers, you always had a chance of getting a green light. Not any more; now they're on "sensors" or something to guarantee that the maximum number of cars have to stop and pollute the environment while idling. I drive a lot and I've kept notes on this;

2)Traffic lights that favor trucks and SUV's but don't recognize small cars and stay red for up to 2 full minutes.

3) Dodge Ram pickup trucks. (Or rather their drivers) Their drivers are ALL reckless bullies and idiots and they should ALL lose their license permanently.
 
What can bother me is when someone disrespect my name, just becuase it's an African name. I mean come on...Just Becuase my name is pronouce differently doesn't mean it has to be spelt exactly as what my name is.

What's worse, is when they think my name should be English, they tend to think that even though my name isn't really English. It offends me enough to wanna say something offensive, but I had to stay calm.
 
I really hate when people sit around and spread rumors about you or people you know and i hate when some of my friends take me for granted. it hurts when they do that.

Anyone who insists that your name should be spelled exactly as it's pronounced should be made to pronounce "LeFebvre" or "Worcestershire" exactly as they're spelled.

These are probably the same people that can't deal with an accent. The "Chaser's War On Everything" did a skit about accents; an American tourist in England gets an interpreter to translate for him, cause he can't understand the British accents! Hilarious!
 
Know what grinds my gears? Stupid kids who I almost hit cause they're riding their bikes AT NIGHT with NO REFLECTORS!!!! (and NO HELMET either!) Why should MY life have to change drastically because I smush some stupid kid who's parents are so negligent they don't care about their little monster's safety?

That is bad,and people who are walking to.We see that,I don't want to say often,but enough and it is scary.You know kids,though,they think they are invisible to any danger.Kids will also be more then happy to sneak out of your home if you tell them they can't do something.

Lol,I've never had that much of a problem with tourists.Of course,I don't get out much.
 
This has been proven many times in my life like some kind of 21st century tech fad that can't be messed with... No seriously, I mean, I struggle hard not to show irascibility when facing the PC while accomplishing a death defying deadline... because once I do that, it will crash big time.

If there is one thing that grinds my gears is this: being sleepless for long hours rushing a serious deadline that will mean presenting stuff formally to important people, being at the end of wits --- then the PC crashes... this big file - that's 'as important like your first born' that you are working on gets corrupted, while you still see some traces of TEMP files to recover (just enough to make you salivate like a dog), yet no matter what you do, it can't be fixed, and the back-up you have is several minutes/hours late...*&^%$#@! So far I haven't turned one into a eunuch yet! 😛issed

What grinds my gears? "Copy-protected" DVD's which won't allow you to play them on a Windows PC unless you install their proprietary malware, and won't let you play them on Linux PC's at all. Hollywood, if that's your attitude toward your customers, then we all might as well head straight for The Pirate Bay.

The movie industry has the Big busines brain-dead mindset of "punish the paying customer!"

Know what grinds my gears? Watching a DVD I BOUGHT, paid for with MONEY, then being THREATENED by an unavoidable warning at the beginning of every single movie every single time.

If I bought the DVD then I didn't pirate it and I don't deserve the threats!!! I wish people would boycott the DVD and CD industries and demand a change...

I hate that too,but it kind of is being boycotted with ITunes,Netflix,Napster,and other companies like that.

Tried to watch a new show online today, cause I can't get ABC to come in at all. Well, it's on their brain-dead website- it pauses every 8 seconds to buffer! If you click away from it, you have to watch the whole commercial at the beginning again. There's no option for a low-quality picture, you're stuck with gorgeous "hi-def" or whatever that freezes every 8 seconds.

When you pause it, it goes back to the ad!

So...I tried to watch it on Youtube, where videos actually load and buffer and play consistently; lo and behold, ABC removed every copy of it from Youtube! Seems they're determined that NO ONE ever sees their show! This "grinds my gears"- the show is broadcast FOR FREE to millions of viewers, yet they wanna keep it a 'secret' on the web??? What sort of brain does this? It's like plastering the whole city with posters then complaining when people actually look at them!
