Red Feather,
All it takes is 'one' to start it off. Be the first on your street. About whether there would be an interest in the West Country, not quite sure (I live in Virginia, USA).
If you mean the Midlands (Liverpool-Manchester, and on a stretch Birmingham) yes! Absolutely, you've got three major population centres quite close to each other, and certainly with many of the same special interests. {I'm also an avid round-'football' fan, and hope dearly we can get past the Czech's in the first round in Germany, best of luck to your lads of course as well}.
If West Country means Penzance and Lands End, er, lovely countryside, but not probably with a lot of folks 'of a feather'.
My wife and I have been hosting munches and kinky parties since about 1990. I wouldn't worry too much about the BDSM'rs. They are truly more afraid of and unused to ticklers than the other way around. I've got a few thoughts on that notion that I want to post in a separate note, which may surprise some folks. Quite often they have provided the 'only' umbrella that the tickle community can 'get a start' at within an otherwise "vanilla" neigborhood.
Here in Virginia, we've attempted to get some large tickle gatherings going and have downsized to where we can expect a realistically average of maybe no more than six to twelve people to show up (sigh). That's why NEST is so wonderfully unique on the planet. It is literally the only one of its kind, and that fact is not really ever likely to change.
On the other hand my missus and I recently tossed out an invite to our local Washington, DC "spanking" community, and within a week we were full up with over forty for a party we're hosting in our townhouse next Saturday!
Spenser (sure, still a multi-fetishist after all these years)
