What is it about Wonder Woman ?

What is it about DC comic charator Wonder Woman that makes her a populer subject in tickle fiction ? I know I wrote a story featuring her, and so have a couple of others. Why is that ? What is it about that toon that we love so much ?
 
How about she's a beautiful young woman, for starters? 🙂 Also, at least as played by Lynda Carter on television, there was an innocence and an openness about her. She was also a power figure, and reducing power figures to harmless hysterics appeals to lots of people. Being a woman, however, she could still be seen as vulnerable to men who could tie her up and get those red boots off her feet. Yvonne Craig's Batgirl has much the same appeal, and she was always getting tied up by the bad guys. Alas, the boots always stayed on both superheroines.

Isn't her weakness now that her bracelets have to be touching each other for her to lose her power? (for example, if one of Batman's batrangs had some chemical that fused them together temporarily...which he did to some Amazons in the Justice League comic book based on the animated series..not sure about the regular JLA comic WW , though). The JL 'toon version of her really shoulda gotten a good tickling in the first few episodes of the first season..she was one stuck-up b****. lol


If I remember right, though, her lasso is unbreakable and it can stretch to any legnth, right? If that second part is true, just think how securely she could be tied up with that(well, except for the fact that villans are pretty sloppy when it comes to tying heroes up. lol)




And with her as a ler, no one would stand a chance...that lasso could make you reveal ALL your ticklish spots.

Young? I thought she was old...well, at least the Lynda Carter version of her was. In the second season of the show, she told Steve Trever Jr that on her next birthday she'd be 2 thousand....something (I don't remember what) years old.

I guess besides that version and the original WW , she's young.
 
Let's face the truth - it's the costume. Like Jeannie from I Dream Of Jeannie. Wonder Woman wears a costume that teases and taunts a tickle-phile. Her legs and armpits are exposed. Boots come off easy.

Personally though, I'd rather see Storm from the X-Men tickled. One of my favorite toons is her being tickled by mechanical tenticles coming from the disembodied hand of a Sentinal. (Notice I said Storm. Not that stupid whiney tramp Rogue. I hate her! Gambit deserves so much better then that piece of trash.) *cough*

Anyway, you wear an outfit like Wonder Woman wears, even non ticklers will think about tickling you.
 
Because she symbolizes all feminist strength and yet is winsome and hot. She has little quirks like she can pick up a car yet get KOed by a cloth with chloroform in it. Tickling Wonder Woman is every boys dream! :woot:
 
In the comics she is often times depicted in a bondage situation to begin with.
 
I have to agree with the half-nakedness of it or the skin tight outfits that superheroines wear is the reason.
 
I think it is the very revealing outfit as well!


And YES! Someone asked if she lost her powers when she is bound up by a man. That is true, even in the comic books. She's also a great bondage target. With those braclets and lasso, yeah, although she does come off more of a dom, then a switch....... :woot:

Yeah but she can only tell the truth. She'd probably say "Untie you mother f@#%er! I'm gonna kick your ass!" 😕

Not quite the reaction we were all hoping for.....

But who knows? Maybe Wonder woman does have the fetish! Maybe that's why she wears the bracelets?
 
I think that Wonder Woman is the archetype on which most other female superheroes are based, in the same way that Superman is the standard against which male superheroes are judged. So if you're going to involve any woman with super powers in your fantasies it's likely to be Wonder Woman unless you have a specific interest in another one.

She also an "ice princess" of sorts: aloof, cool, a virgin as far as anyone knows, keeps both men and woman at a professional distance. There's a whole shelf in the Porn Library devoted to fantasies about breaking through the shell of such a woman. Take that with her status as First Lady of Superland and it's no wonder she shows up in erotica so often.

There have been many shows about the origin and history of comics which all touch at some point on Wonder Woman. The bottom line she is a strong female character which goes a long way to the fantasy of breaking someone's will through tickling.
 
I posted about this before, but the thread seemed to vanish. What is is about the first Female Super Heroe that makes us want to write stories or draw pictures of her being tickled silly?

Opinions please...
 
Documentory on Comics...

I once saw a Documentory on comics, and they talked a little about Wonder Woman. Near the end of Wondy's segment there wasan older picture of her, and in the thought bubble she is thinking about how her enamies are tickling her ears with cu-tips like objects. Is that cool or what.

I agree with all the reasons you folks have given. A person of great power, the fact that she's beautiful, and that she wears a sexy costum. I just wanted to know what others thought. Pretty cool responce, thanks.

I read that Lynda Carter wanted to see an unkonwn (about 20 years old) play Wonder Woman in the movie. I think this is a good idea, because then people are going to see Wonder Woman, and not J'Lo or Lohan. I for one would like to see Lynda as WW mother, especialy for the ceramony where she hands over the costume.

Ah yes the amazon princess. As a man who admits to being a fan of both marvel and dc comics. I have to say that Wonder Woman is one of the most iconic superheroines. Maybe its the image of her being almost invincible as a heroine. Maybe we just want to see that trademark atitude she has, like being above all others dissapear by tickling it out of her. Being georgeous and an amazon and an invincible heroine makes her on of the best targets for me as a tickler.

Then again it could just be the long Legs, Big Tits, an Skimpy out fit. Sometimes it's the simplest thing in life that are best 🙂
