Most female superheroes are the embodiment of many of our first prepubescent fantasies about women. Take Lynda Carter for example, I was around 6 or 7 when I saw her as Wonder Woman...All I can say is that I wanted her and didn't even know what I'd do once I got her, lol, but that didn't stop me from wanting her.

Also at the time your parents wouldn't complain about Wonder Woman, so a beautiful woman running around in a sexy little outfit was completely acceptable...I swear it was like the holy grail of sexual attraction. So, when guys my age grew up, they kept that desire even on a subconscious level and it comes out in our fantasies.

I am much more concerned with the fact that Joss Whedon will no longer be writing the feature film adaptation of this character. Curse you Joel Silver.

I'm greatful Whedon is off the project, it mean there is less of a chance that one of his no talent Buffy Bimbets won't be playing Wonder Woman.
