What is NEST?

Hi everyone, I have been reading these boards for a little bit and this is my first post. I'm still a bit hesitant about the whole thing.

Anyway, I live in Philadelphia, and I keep hearing about NEST which is apparently in Philly, so can someone tell me what it is...and what it NEST stands for (I assume it's an acronym)?

I'm 25, male, and I love tickling and being tickled but the girls I've been with have all found it to be weird so I've never been seriously tickled or gotten to tickle someone else.

So, that's me. I hope to be more active on these boards in the future and perhaps attend this NEST event.

If I were to tell everything that NEST is and everything involved, I'd be late for work in 3 hours. So I will keep it simple and let others respond as well.

NEST is NorthEast Society of Ticklephilies.

Meets in Philadelphia each year, and now, always the first weekend in May.

I went in 2007 and was my first gathering and first time ever meeting anyone from the forum. It was excellent. I had the time of my life.

There were just over 100 people there that year. The main thing to know when looking into NEST is if your only goal is to go and tickle girls. You may want to sort out your priorities or find another venue. Although yes, NEST has had the best ratio of men to women(2:1 that year), NEST is more of a social gathering. Tickling does go on, a lot. But there's no guarantee you'll get involved with all the people you wished to.

Any touch is strictly voluntary. You must ask anyone you wish to tickle if it is ok. Safewords are always involved in any situation.

I have heard this coming year will be much different, with more activities and events. Reading the threads in this section with people talking about their experiences is the best route to finding out what goes on.

Besides the tickling, bring on the poker games, the dance parties, the late night parties in rooms(tickling behind closed doors often occurs), pool party, etc. It is a blast. Plus, meeting people who you only knew by screenname and meeting them for the first time, while at the same time, feeling you knew these people so well already.

The first person I met was Snail Shell, then like an explosion, many more people. ASUTickler, Chaneda, tickleshotel, Avenger314, PokeyinMich, venray, LeeAllure, amnesiac, IvoryTickler, classy, Ticklee1973, etc etc etc etc. All great people, all excellent to hang out with.

If your goals would be to have a great time with friends and make tons more friends in the process while getting some tickles in along the way, you will not regret your decision to go.

Costs involve registration, transportation, hotel and food.

I drove from Western NY, roomed with two other people and probably spent within $400 for the whole trip. Even with gas prices they way they were then.

Can i meet a really cute girl and tie her up and tickle her ? if she says yes i assume =] ? and can i tickle lots of girls feets ?

Can you? That will depend solely on how you approach these girls, and how they react to you.

It's really the same as interacting with women at a dance, or when trying to date, or talking to girls at a party and trying to put your hand on them.

After all, in tickling, you must touch, y'know?

NEST doesn't allow you to do this. NEST provides the environment in which such is possible. The rest, brother, is up to you. Show, and try. Come find me, and I'll see what I can do to get you introduced to others.

In the meantime, make friends here. Find out who is like you, and who you'd like to meet, socially.

Where can I go to register for NEST?

NEST is a great gathering to meet people who are tickler, ticklee, and who are both . There are new people every year so for people who have gone before, they'll see new and old faces. Also, I was just looking for somewhere on here to register for NEST? I can't find it? How can I go about registering? Please let me know thanks.
