what is NEST?

i have heard a few people on here talking about something called nest that is aparently happening in 3 months....what is this, and why is tklvr18 so upset she can't go?

NEST is a gathering somewhere in PA. A really big one. I thought it happened in early Spring but I could be wrong.

does NEST have a website or anything like that, that informs of upcoming events and such? It sounds rather cool.

the hollywood brother thinks Nest has come and gone already this year. It is by invitation only from what the hollywood brother understnads. what the hollywood brother do not understand is why they pick the area that they pick? They could easily pick a fmaily place like wildwood so that people can brign there whole families for the weekend or a whole week. the children can ride the rides, the parents can see where rock and roll was first played live and the tickle lovers can even tickle the hell out of each other right on the beach!

They probably have it in philly, HB, because I assume people are not bringing their children to a fetish gathering...and Philadelphia, being a large city with many businesses, can probably be written off as a business trip, or at least people could believe Philadelphia is a location for something more serious/businesslike than the boardwalk...(don't worry...I love going down the shore...I just think it's easier for everyone to get to Philly on every level! But maybe you can start your own NEST down the shore this summer!!!)

Not by invite but i believe they rsvp with some people so they know who to expect.

They all get several floors of a hotel and have fun

To set the record straight...

NEST = North East Society of Ticklephiles and is the largest (I think) gathering of ticklephiles in North America. It usually takes place in early May for each year, but was delayed this year until June. It always takes place in/around Philadelphia, PA, though there are people who come in from as far away as Sacramento CA, London England or me, the lone Canadian.

NEST consisted this year of a Social Meet and Greet session where the rules are reviewed and everyone introduces themselves (name, screen name, 'ler or 'lee, etc). The following day, we all truck over to a club where there are tickling demonstrations, videos, raffles and soforth. Afterwards, we all went for food.

Outside of that, NEST is what you make of it. You hang out with other ticklephiles and chat and have fun. People get gang tickled all the time. People sequester away for private tickling sessions all the time. It's a place where ticklephiles can go and feel accepted. Old friends meet and share memories. The jerks on the forum show up looking sheeping and the shy stay shy but are welcome to join in should they desire to.

PS - Yes, the majority of those who attend NEST find out about it through the TMF, but all ticklephiles are welcome. The fact that TTC is under-represented can change very quickly. 😉

Thanks, SnailShell, for the info. Perhaps a regular of the TTC can work with the TMFers to bring the word over here. I'm sure there are a ton of people here who'd want to attent.

To quell the NW representation and British attitude thing, the entire US was there. Literally from the four US corners. Only three Brits showed up, the two of them (a husband and wife duo) put on a DYNAMITE demonstration at the club.

If anything Canada may have been under-represented, having only myself. However I did hear some whispers of 'Omigosh, that was Snail Shell! I can't believe I got ot see his originals!' I'm not saying this out of ego or anything, but there was a hint of celebrity awe around me all weekend. (I'm still scratching my head.)

I'm going to try to post NEST news on TTC as it becomes available. Take care!

It's easy to get to Philly, and easy to get around there. Also, you know, I see transvestites every single day in my neighborhood. Gay couples, lesbian couples. There are some pretty racy shops on South St. I think in Philly people don't blink, so to speak. And they don't get mugged as often as in NYC...
