I know that feathers aren't generally accepted as effective here, but...

I've absolutely achieve "profound tickling" using them on an ex gf. She completely lost her mind and I was able to keep her in that space. I think it has to do with the fact the that feathers are kind of "edging" for ticklishness and that tension builds until the Lee reaches something of a feather zone, where the touch tickles like hell but isn't too hard where it pushes the Lee "through".

It was explained to me as feeling like a thousand strokes of varying pressure and thickness brushing all over wherever on her body I was using them.

The right kind of featherduster will cause havoc.

imho profound tickling is not just getting someone in a spot that jolts them in to a panicked effort for evasion , its not just getting them hysterical or a giggling mush , and its definitely not just a few moments
its taking him to the very depths of his ticklishness ,identifying those hyper ticklish hotspots and latching on with full concentration to stimulate those points to their very maximum level of ticklishness and keeping them in that state unrelenting and maintaining focus ,
and it needs full immobilization so there is no chance of them getting any sense of relief of control over the stimulus by wriggles or spasms
the laughter enters a whole other dimension of wailing and uncontrollable frenzy with full knowledge that the tickler is simply gonna continue

almost nobody ever experiences this done to them or sees it in every day life so when its seen by ppl they just stare transfixed and remember it forever

but i know i am only one person with one opinion so i am interested in all of urs

and also I know its not common for ppl even in this community to be into that so sorry if i offend anyone

plus a lot of ppl (lees) say they want this but imho when i use to do it i can pretty much garantee nobody could actually handle it

I concur. Usually, my goal is to stay on the very edge of sanity, but few can truly accomplish that. I’ve ridden the line and the challenge is downright therapeutic. I played with a good friend a year and a half ago, and came very close to riding that line again. He was really skilled and that caught me off guard. And to my own shock, lol because clearly I’m a glutton for punishment, said (once I could talk again) “next time I better not even remember my name” and meant it lol.

The first time sent me into a panic and I tapped. I’m still not happy I did. But I often wonder if I could manage to hang on, now that I have more experience. One day, I shall ride that edge again since every Ler has the potential to be the one to send me there. But I’m having fun in the meantime!

It's rare, as I mentioned, but not from a lack of desire. I'll fully admit that I am extremely masochistic when it comes to being tickled. However, there is a time and place, and the tickler has to be someone who will confidently, skillfully, and joyfully take on this type of session. More importantly, they also have to keep me safe.

Again, this is not for everyone. It doesn't have to be. I love regular, playful sessions a whole lot. But it's those sessions where I have truly been able to lose control and nothing else exists except the maddening ticklish sensations and this world that my ler and their evil fingers have created... And there is no escape..... And I am broken and at this person's mercy.... But will they EVER stop? And, I'm serious! I can't take it anymore!!! But do they listen? Nooo! 😩😭

This position is my favorite and least favorite and the scariest and most exhilarating place to be. And it's NEVER the hard, wild, rushed tickling that takes me there. It's that patient, gentle, touch from the one who just knows my body. And they are just softly wrecking my shit with the most unbothered, relaxed, smile on their face. Sigh! I'm hopeless... And finally, for them... I've had enough.

So yes, I have definitely been tickled well past what I could take. It was awful. And I dream about those sessions....

I've yet to find a Ler that could even make me safeword. Though several have given up trying to break me...endurance has never been a problem for me so bring it on 😛 nothing better than to be a tickle toy for a Ler, tortured until she decides she's had enough, whatever my state is my mindset when I'm in the Lee side of my switchiness.

Part of the problem is you said you tapped out....Im not criticizing the use of a safe word...but to really test your limits you'd need to simply set a reasonable time and let the expert LER take over and take you there...ofc lot of trust involved but their are some Lers who are very good and wont play with a. safe word for that reason....and I do believe that a safe LER can tickle torture to a high level without s sw bec they have the skill at reading their Lee... (personally I tickled a prev GF w/o a safe word)...was it stressful...yes...in a good way and she loved it...and I know of Lee's today who are playing with Ler's in same fashion...
they set a time limit and trust the ler wont go longer ...I mean when I tickled my prev GF I didnt even have a set time limit 😱....we didnt think of sw at that time...

You prob know your own limits ...so agreeing to a time limit would be fairly easy to do...although you would need to allow for the ler to find and build up to the max levels (most would be able to get a lee into a frantic state in short time if needed then just keep them on that edge of tickle hell ...you as the lee would 'enjoy' the benefits of their expertise and not knowing the time expired would really set your mind on fire believe me....so staying on the edge you want would be much easier w/o a sw to 'get in the way...'

I don’t play without a safe word. Safety is something I value, as well as respect. I’ve had to use it a different time because I was injured. Even the best Ler can make a mistake when reading someone. I do know my limits, and trust is important with this too.

A person’s response, body language, and expressions aren’t always congruent with their emotions or experiences. That’s why some sensitive people don’t laugh, and some people in pain do laugh. To assume someone doesn’t know themselves, to me, implies a lack of trust and respect for the Lee. That’s not something I’m chasing.
