For me it seems that people tend to think they are less ticklish than they really are.
That there are compassionate, generous people who would never intentionally cause somebody else even the most fleeting pain -- but who will, given the opportunity, pounce on a ticklish friend and tickle him right up to (or just barely beyond) the edge of harmless playfulness.

I've learned that a lot of bored married women will eagerly indulge in some pretty involved tickling games as an alternative to cheating.
Whether it's not cheating wasn't really my call, as I wasn't married.

Ha! I've learned something similar.
I've also learned that tickling (or I should say the act of tickling) seems to (physiologically) turn on a good percentage of women, even if they say (and think) they hate it. Maybe it's the rough housing or the being dominated.....but, after discovering that, you realize it's part of foreplay and flirting for a reason!
i've said this before, but one time I started tickling a female who was sitting in the front seat, and she suddenly started urgently shrieking through the hyperventilating laughter: "You're going to turn me on! You're going to turn me on!" 😀
"If you can make a woman laugh, you can make her do anything." -- Marilyn Monroe
Joe Dimaggio and Arthur Miller didn't listen....and look what happened. lol.
People with a "tough guy" complex tend to be the most ticklish. 😀
I have learned having a session with someone who has never had the opportunity to tickle before, when this is their biggest, deepest, darkest desire/secret, is one of the most beautiful and rewarding things I have had the opportunity to be a part of.
Also, I have learned that men specifically can reach octaves unknown to the human species when you find a good tickle spot. LOL!
