What makes me crave it?

Well hell, what's not to love?? The sense of being completely overwhelmed and exposed, the utter loss of control - physically and mentally, the freedom to really let go, the comforting limits of the bondage? Or the fact that you are so In the Moment and so in your body, that the whole world just contracts to a pin point, and you become one big throbbing erogenous zone begging to be touched? =)

Not really sure. Maybe it's just the way that it makes me feel. Guess I don't laugh a whole lot, though I can't think why not, and Scott will tell me that I need a good tickling. That's fine with me, bring it.

Samantha hit the nail on the head. Forget all that Freudian psychobabble. It just plain feels wonderful. It makes me feel like I'm the sexiest woman in the world when I'm tied up naked, exposed to whatever my husband wants to do to me and helpless to stop it short of the safeword (which I am ver reluctant to use no matter how agonizing the torture becomes). The rush of excitement that races through my body is a high I don't believe any drug can match. And I never tell my husband what to do with me. That would ruin the whole experience. He's the one in control. I'm the one tied up. The feeling of not knowing what will come next heightens the whole experience. What's not to love indeed!!!

For me, a lot of it is about the actual sensation, the way it overpowers me and refuses to be ignored. But there is a lot of psychology to it as well. As a young child I was constantly tickled by females - older sisters, their girlfriends, older girls at school, and even certain teachers. I was psychologically conditioned to associate being tickled with female authority and affection. Those associations are still there and I suspect they always will be.
