What is the most romantic thing that has ever been done for you or ...

Isabeau came back as innocent sex kitten and showed us all the ugly side of the internet.

When I was proposed to, it wasn't really going to be a surprise. We had talked alot about it and I even picked out the ring. Knowing I really always wanted it to be a surprise, he had the lady from the ring place call and leave a voicemail saying that he wasn't approved for the credit line or something, so he could't get the ring. I was really sad, but wanted to have a great 21st birthday anyway. So many people were there - people I hadn't seen in 10 years - and my family and stuff, and right after I blew out the candles, when everyone's eyes were on me, he proposed :bubbleheart: It was an amazing surprise and an absolutely perfect moment 🙂

For me, romantic things are when someone does something for me that they know I'll like. The idea that someone put thought into a gift or an act is what makes it romantic. When I got a personalized chef hat, that was pretty cool.

Food. It has to be food........Can't really say the women i've dated have really tried that hard....Hmmm. I'll have to get back to you on that. Wait....how could I forget. My birthday that just passed! A girl i'm dating took me to the melting pot. I had never been and am usually the guy that celebrates everyone elses birthday but my own. It was amazingly romantic. And she looked phenomenal as usual. Good wine, good food, gorgeous girl...it was great!

My ex when we first started dating liked to surprise me with things. He one time showed up at the place I was working at the time with a box of half a dozen long stem yellow roses. I nearly cried.

To me though I find it's the small things that are far more endearing. It's just remembering the things I say that half the time even I forget about, telling me something sweet for no other reason other than wanting to, indulging in my quirks with me, being goofy with me, and just little touches and wanting to hold my hand. Hahahaha I'm such a sap sometimes. But things like that just work so well. I don't like people spending money on me for things that don't last. Dinners are fun movies cool flowers meh better if they are potted.

In the 10th grade, my boyfriend presented me with a rose on our two year anniversary in front of the entire school.

Speaking of the small things, when my little doggy Pedro was attacked and killed by a roaming pitbull, my boyfriend put together a scrap book for me of old photos and trinkets.
I was so sad and just kept reliving his last moments and how horrible it must have been for him to be torn apart and mauled by a viscous animal. I was inconsolable and grief stricken for days on end.
He also had a "life celebration" ceremony for Pedro and a cookout at a dog park where people got to bring their pets and kids which I thought was really great!
Then a few months later he surprised me with a new little puppy named Diego!
I was literally crying tears of joy!
