I think that if a lee was tied up and blindfolded and just left alone for a few minutes, the mental torture would certainly sink in because they wouldn't know what to expect or when it would be happening. Then when it does finally happen, the ler leaves and waits even longer the second time around before tickling his/her tickle victim lol. I really do think the "torture" aspect begins with the mind, and ends with the body.
