How do you define torture?
Every new tickle clip seems to advertise that someone is being tortured. So and so volunteers to climb into a bondage device and have their sensitive spots poked and feathered while they laugh for a bit. Usually, they come back for a return trip in another video? Can something truly be called torture if we willingly subject ourselves to it?
Torture, according to the United Nations Convention Against Torture, is "any act by which severe pain or suffering, whether physical or mental, is intentionally inflicted on a person for such purposes as obtaining from him or a third person information or a confession, punishing him for an act he or a third person has committed or is suspected of having committed, or intimidating or coercing him or a third person, or for any reason based on discrimination of any kind, when such pain or suffering is inflicted by or at the instigation of or with the consent or acquiescence of a public official or other person acting in an official capacity. It does not include pain or suffering arising only from, inherent in or incidental to lawful sanctions."
That definitely doesn't sounds like what we see on the TMF. I am curious to hear how people define torture, and if, like me, any believe that this term is used too lightly given the grave circumstances behind many men and women who really are tortured because of their beliefs, race or religion.
Furthermore, would you really like to see someone tortured? For 99% of the models that we see tickled in videos, tickling is unpleasant, unwanted and sometimes excrutiating. But every now and then, if the stars are alligned, we actually see someone tortured. Unconsensual, horrible torture, where the victim hates life for the time being. Its not cute, or fun: its miserable suffering. I will argue that the majority of people here search to witness this experience.
