mine was losing 45lbs this year and going from a size 18 to a size 10. Also quitting smoking!

Hmmmm....did I actually do anything this year? Lemme think...

Recieving my first kyu brown belt I suppose. But I don't count that for much.

Bah, just ignore me.

Hmmmm.....My biggest individual accomplishment was to finally start writing the book I've always wanted to do (a murder mystery). I also lost weight...though there's plenty more to lose. As a couple, Drew and I have also accomplished a lot on getting our new house done up the way we want. More of all to come in 2005.

Seeing the birth of my twin daughters, and the joy of watching them grow up. Simply marvelous😀

I reached the status of Life Master in the American Contract Bridge League this July. 😀

Surviving.

And of course the opening of my own tickling website! 😎

Quitting smoking after nearly 20 freaking years with the nasty habit. Monday will be 6 months smoke free for me!

Mimi 😀

Gave blood for the first time - twice now, this year, and joined the bone marrow donor registry. Joined a health club, getting out of finacnial problems with greater success, sold my first painting in a gallery and pulled off a small but successful tickling gathering in Dallas by myself. That's actually a few acomplishments, but they are all big deals to me and I was such a loser before!

I have a good friend, a woman, who, during a stay at my house, managed to pin down in order to tickle the stuffing out of her...as my wife took pictures.

It wasn't a great year, but it did have a moment or two.

No major accomplishments this year besides taking first place in my weight class in a bench press comp.

Learning to love, and falling in love with who i feel, is the one i want to be with forever..in fact, she is my future, my world.

Here's an accomplishment: I made it to forty-three. By all rights, I should never have made it to twenty-five.

I think my wife has finally figured out that her husband has to tickle just about every female he meets. She seems to regard it as a joke of sorts, which I think is no mean accomplishment in and of itself. Last night, we had a friend over, who verbally teased me. I introduced finger to foot, but, alas, no reaction. "Ha!", said Mrs K, "she's not ticklish!"

Oh, well. Sang Carole King: "sometimes you win, sometimes you lose..."

biggest accomplishment...making it thru another year without cracking up...becoming Mod here was/is pretty neat...getting around better than i have in a long time

I'm with giggleygirl...

I haven't cracked up...yet. 🙂

I don't know if this can be considered an accomplishment, but I survived major surgery (this past June), and I'm recovering...nicely...more or less.

I had a setback this past week, and had to return to the doctor for another minor procedure. I'm in pain, but there are always medications to ease that. I'm alive; I have a roof over my head and food to eat; I'm not constantly sick as I had been for a long time; I have friends (yes, that means YOU!) and family members who love me; and, most important, I have kwildoctr by my side, offering love and caring...and yes, tickles. 😀 :redheart: <<<<----

I finally got to try Red Stripe lager:woot: (thanks, giantfan121262)

Sorry to hear about the setback, Lite. Hope you're doing ok, I'm sure Dr. Kwil is keeping you laughing. (oh...and you're still evil!)

Drew

1. Getting a Drivers Liscence
2. Getting a Job
3 Finding out how many things are actually wrong with my body.
4. Using some of no3 to trip me over and send me in a new and better direction in life.

I am becoming a better composer and I love it. I always used to do it a little bit... like a short solo piece of piano music every year or so... but I've really pushed myself this last semester and done stuff that I never really thought I was capable of doing... and whats more, doing it very well (I got High Distinctions!).

My first achievement in 2005 will be going on my first real, independant holiday.

Good thread!

Helping my grandparents out while they were in the hospital (independently but at the same time), falling in love, getting my BA and making it (against all odds) to England to start my Masters degree.

Being chosen as the Chairman for the American Cancer Society Relay for Life of 2005 here in St. Clair County. Though I dislike being in charge of anything, I'm honored to lead the fight against cancer here in the Bluewater area.

Organising a fund-raising gungetank day to make money for a local children's hospice. On paper we raided the equivalent of about $1,500, of which about $1,000 is in the bank.

Oh, I forgot the second major bad habit I rid myself of in 2004. My final divorce hearing in March. 😀 That was the biggest accomplishment of my LIFE! Woo hoo!
