None of the above. I prefer to use the subway (known as the underground in the UK).

Favorite mode of transportation? I'd love to have a car and be able to have the independence of going wherever I wanted whenever I wanted without being worried about waiting in the cold for a bus or about safety or something, but I doubt I would be able to afford the car payments and insurance and gas right now.

Current mode of transportation? It's a combination of walking and public transportation (which wasn't on the list, but who would choose it as a favorite)? Chicago's got pretty reliable public transit, although in the past two weeks, fares have gone up in price and I've witnessed two fights. And, depending on the time of day or night, there is always either a schizophrenic street urchin talking nonsense, an old person that has pissed themselves, or a creepy guy in the back that could possibly be masturbating. Yeah, it sucks, but no choice.

What the hell is this by the way? :dancingmonster:

Get a motorbike, as long as there's no snow or ice on the roads it's alot cheaper than a car and you don't have traffic jams or anything.

Imo the only advantage a car has over a bike is that you can take more stuff with you 😛

and you get to stay dry, dont have to put on special protective clothes or a helmet, get to take people with you, less chance of an accident etc,

Of course there are perks such as the almost unbelievible acceleration, being able to sneak around the traffic and they use less petrol.

I definatly prefere cars tho 🙂

lol, I preffer to sit on my bottom all day! 😀 I just had to vote that... XD

When I do move about it's usually walking though, when it's larger distances I preffer the car over public transportation, simply because I hate people (normally I don't, but in this case I do, it might be better to say that I hate crowds I guess).

Well, you sure look badass in a leather suit 😛

And yeah, you get wet, but only pussies whine about that 😛

You can usually take 1 person with you which is good enough for me, and accidents happen mostly to insensible idiots (doing wheelies at 100 mph etcetera)

You just can't beat the feeling of riding a bike, especially during the summer (England's A and B roads are alot of fun I noticed)

I declare myself lazy and a pussy then 🙂

I dont like getting wet(especially if im on my way somewhere like work or out for the night)

And im way to lazy to get in and out of all that gear 😀

Motorcycles have to follow the same rules as cars, I'm pretty sure and here in Chicago, there's snow and ice for 6 months. Kinda rules out a motorcycle. Although if I had an extra 5 grand, I'd get a moped in a second for the warmer months.

I'd really fancy me one of these IReals, they're like comfy office chairs with an engine in it and lots of cool gadgets and they can do up to 20 mph and drive indoors 😎

I was forced to choose "Car" since piggy back ride wasn't an option :lalala:

Well I like the independent freedom with my car. If I want to just get up and go I can. Personally, if I lived in an environment like I had in Tampa, or somewhere with that kind of climate, I would totally rawk out an orange vespa.

Car. Nothing beats taking a long road trip and seeing parts of the country that you haven't before, in my opinion.

I usually walk wherever I need to go.

Barring that, I ride the train.

I like to travel by car. Only if I'm not the one driving. That way I can just relax and enjoy the ride.

I chose the last option, but while I may prefer to sit on my bottom, I actually have a physically active job, so I am moving about on my feet quite a bit. For transportation, I walk and use public transit.

I've had to go with car as I love the independence of just getting in and whizzing about and not having to wait at bus stops or any other public transport queue.

I also like motorbikes but haven't got a bikes licence and I also used to cycle a lot too.

I do a bit of walking.

Those Segway's look like a blast, Rammstein used one on stage back in 2005, such a giggle :xpulcy:

Get a license, from what an American friend of mine told me it seems to be really easy in the US. (unlike here, where a license costs you about $2500 🙁)

I'm not in the US 😉

I have to take tests and a bike exam too and the lessons would cost quite a bit. So I won't be doing that anytime soon.
