I have seen more then my share of B rate movies but i always love watching Last Man Standing with Bruce Willis. It's so cheesey i love it.

Billy Jack, "I'm gonna take this right foot, and I'm gonna whop you on that side of your face and you wanna know something? There's not a damn thing you're gonna be able to do about it."

Hmmm. Probably "Sleepaway Camp" or "Waxwork".

Toss up between "Shakes the Clown" and "Running Scared".

Bella

Suburbia - the 1984 Corman/Spheeris movie, not the lame one with the same name made in the 90s. Rampaging squatter punks, non existent acting skills - its a cheese-o-rama! It also features an incredibly realistic scene in which a rich girl slumming at a punk concert is stripped bare assed naked - worth the price of admission alone!

Hey Bella running scared is one of my favorite movies period. Billy Crystal and Gregory Hines made great partners in that movie.

You're a real carpenter's dream. Flat as a bored and needs a screw! 😛

Aww Sleepaway Camp what a classic boobie feast

My favorite B movie is Dead alive or aka Braindead (the unrated version)

blood guts and well more blood and guts

I don't evn know if this rates as high as a "B" movie, but Attack of the Killer Tomatoes!

There were quite a few B movies that were good, it just depends on what you mean by "B" movie. If you're talking about just a budget issue, then a lot of films could be considered B movies. The ones I gravitate towards are the ones that at least have good actors in them. A lot of good actros made lower budget movies and were quite good in them. Rutger Hauer comes to mind, and among his films are some of my fave B flicks:

The Hitcher
LadyHawke
Blind Fury
Omega Doom

Some other B films I like are:

Cube
Pi
Slipstream (Star Wars fans should love this bit of sci-fi with a surprisingly good Mark Hamill)
Dog Soldiers
Lake Placid (Although I don't know if that really counts as a B movie per se)
Last Man Alive

Oh crap, I'll probably think of a hundred more later...

<a href="http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0109575/">Death Machine</a> and <a href="http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0119794/">Nirvana</a>

also, early works by Peter Jackson. You know, Bad taste, Meet the Feebles and Braindead. "I'm a Derek - and Dereks don't run".

Was "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" a B rated movie? I remember watching that on tv and saying to my sister "This movie's either gonna have a sequal, or a tv series".

Ooh and who besides me remembers the tv movie..umm..I think it was..."Model by Day". Some movie about some swimsuit model startin to fight crime for some reason. First "costume" of hers had straps that crossed in the back, so the media called her .."Lady X", I think..even when she got rid of the straps (I even remember her saying that to herself in the movie)

Best scene was when the model was walkin down a dark street in a trenchcoat and fedora (damn that looks hot on women! 😀..in fact, that movie started my fetish...or kink, or whatever..for women dressed like that )and some guys surround her..probably thinkin they're gonna get to rape her or something. You couldn't see her eyes with the hat covering them, but she was smiling as she slooowly took off the trenchcoat....and then she proceeded to kick their asses.

Cube was way too clever and original to be a B Movie! I loved that movie and loved that it never explained itself.

The Blob, however, gave me nightmares for years… :scared:

Plan Nine From Outer Space

Oh! I forgot about the Evil Dead trilogy! True classics!

This movie might even be a "C" or "D"...

"UHF" with Weird Al Yankovic...makes me laugh every time I see it. 🙂

As me! I'm a huge Weird Al fan!

But as to my favorites...too many to list just one!

But, forced to it would be:

Hysterical! (with the Hudson brothers)

Just a classic stupid movie that I would love to own one day!

I think the whole thing about how the cube was made and stuff was explained in the second movie...I think it was called Cube 2: Hypercube. I know ONE of those movies had the guy who invented the cube trapped in it.

That movie had even weirder deadly rooms in the cube than in the original. Now if they'd only turn that into a video game....a Cube game would rock! 😀
