Can he handle our country?Does he have our best interest in mind or should someone else be our next president? Is he good or evil? What do you think will happen if he is president?Give us your thoughts on this possible situation.

I think he is wholly under-qualified and not fit (yet) to take the reigns. I find it amazing how many times we place men in the highest executive position in the world when they have never (1) worked for real in the private sector, (2) had to make payroll, (3) ever led something for real ('community organizer' in the Chicago Democratic machine is not being a real leader, sorry), or (3) never having 'done' anything. Less than 2 years in the Senate, no significant legislation written and passed him, never even holding a single meeting of the Senate sub-committee he is the chair of? And he thinks he will be able to lead this nation from day 1? Nothing original about him, spouts the same 'class envy' tripe that the Clinton's did, etc.

As I have said before, we need a leader, not a politician in the Oval Office. He has yet to show me anything that proves he can lead, as of yet. I want a man (or woman) that can do more than vote 'Present'...

I'm not american but I have a thought (indeed was impossible to not have it, with the hammering news from usa in italy)
he is a good person (kissinger was not born in america but was a skilly politic diplomatic)
but he have non chance to win because in most of the occidental world racism is important

but let's change the view: if he wins, what will happen? nothing.
lobbies and center of powers in usa are too important and influent... he will never have the power to change things, but mccain will not try too at the start

in italy is important who is the next usa president, as in the rest of the world
but my life will change so few because their politics are identical at the fact, so I will not care anymore

obama bin laden !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think he's very impressive--he has the potential to be a really galvanizing leader. (He also has the potential to be a limp sell-out like Clinton was, but there's no such thing as a sure thing.) He's made compromises during this campaign season that have tarnished his luster, but not to the degree that his opponent has. My assessment of him is very positive.

And he was born in the good ol' U.S. of A., so no worries there. (Curious trivia note: McCain actually was not born within the nation's boundaries, but that doesn't compromise either his eligibility or his patriotism, so no worries there either.)

i'm not impressed with either candidate this year..i have to think long and hard before i cast my vote..i know i won't vote for McCain..however will i vote for Obama? or write in Ron Paul? and how do i write in a vote on a touch screen ballot...hmm i'll have to ask..everyone tells me if i write in Ron Paul's name, i'll be throwing my vote away...i find that insulting..it's my vote..i'm an American..i'll vote the way i choose..

either way i fear for the future of this country..when Clinton left office, we were financially stable..look at what has happened in the last eight years..and actually it began to happen the first year Bush was in office..

Hey if he is half a man I hear he is, then he has my vote... even though I can't vote in USA... 😛
Well at least I hope he can solve our issue...

I think he's okay. Obama/Biden are a damn sight better than those other two idiots. McCain just sounds like a tired old Republican record.

"Victory in Iraq" this. "OMG TER'RISTS" that. "O wow I wish Petraeus was my buddy 4 lyfe!"

C'mon. It's time for Iraq to take over running their country so that our dudes can do these things...

1) Go to Afghanistan and turn bin Laden's bases into sheets of glass
2) Come home and all get offered hella pensions if they wanted to retire right freakin' then.

Yeah.

Maybe I should lie about my age and jump in as a late candidate by stealing airtime, raising my own billboards, and generally cheating my way to the White House.

Oh wait! D'oh! That would make me a Republican candidate!

I believe Obama has the brains and the conviction and at least SOME experience in government (if I'm not mistaken he has been a senator for a few years now). Unfortunately due to Bush and Cheney ruining out economy with their policies during their DISASTROUS two terms in office, I feel Obama might have to sacrifice some of his agenda for the first year of his term.

I don't think Obama is ready for the job but McCain doesn't impress me either. If President Bush had not handled things so pooly the past four years McCain's chances would be better. It's going to be an interesting election this year and even though I won't vote for him I think Obama will end up the winner.

That would make it even more interesting but I think Biden will still be Obama's running mate.

Oh ok and what about Hillary is she still Vice president

She is still a Senator and vied with Obama to be the Democratic Presidential canidate but she is not the Vice Presidential canidate because Senator Biden is.

I think that Obama is under-qualified and inexperienced. I think that he is pretty useless without his teleprompter (i.e. someone feeding him words). He is on the furthest left-wing in the Senate (for the handful of days he was a Senator). I think that he is two-faced and an has an ivory tower aloof perspective. Basically, I don't like him.

As for Biden, he's a total moron. I love the hypocrisy when he's compared to Palin. The media is gunning for Palin and trying to trip her up. Fair enough, CBS, MSNBC, CNN they all want Obama, so it's fair sport. However, while they dance all over a very minor gaffe of Palin's they totally ignore the total idiocy of Biden. For example, Biden said that FDR went on TV in 1929 to talk to the people about the Stock Market Crash. There was no TV in 1929 and Herbert Hoover was the President. So don't even talk to me about how smart Biden is.

I was in Berlin while he takes a speech at 200.000 people there. He said some pretty good things but I also dislike some of his opinions.

The thing about Berlin is that there were rock concerts before his speech. So many of those people were just there for the music.

Maybe, but the german-speaking countrys have something like an Obamania after eight years of G.W. Bush. 😀 This might be because Obama embodys the hope of better times for many people here, especially of a new solidarity between die U.S. and "old europe" for peaceful conflict resolutions in future.

My opinion on that is that the U.S. and Europe are friends no matter who the U.S. president may be. That friendship is in our people not in our politicians.
