Any MAD Magazine fans out there?

Personally, I love it. I've been an avid reader of MAD since the mid 90s. It lampoons pop culture, politics, and current events perfectly. Much like the Simpsons has in my lifetime, though, MAD has gotten progressively worse.

Luckily MAD Magazine has 50 years worth of issues to fall back on

Over the years geniuses like Mort Drucker, Don Martin, AL Jaffee, and Dave Berg have consistently kept me laughing ...

And it's all about the laughter, right?

Your thoughts?

I was a huge fan of MAD growing up in the 1960's-70's.I admit i lost touch with the magazine as the people you mention passed away or moved on to other things.I wish i had kept the issues i had from those days but your thread brings back many fond memories.🙂

I always enjoyed Spy vs. Spy. Otherwise, I never paid that much attention, to be honest.

I Grew up reading mad magazine but havent picked up an issue in prolly 5 years or show....

In the 60's I had a subscription......

I grew up in the sixties with MAD Magazine and I also had a subscription. I still may have the square 45 LP of "It's A Gas" somewhere in Mom's attic.

But did you get to the theater to see THIS?

And did you have this? I got it for Christmas, and STILL have it:woot:

Even though I'm probably in the "too young for MAD" demographic, I can't get enough of that mag.

I had a brief stay in hospital last year and my fiancee brought me MAD. Brightened up my day to no end 😀

The fold-in is always eagerly anticipated 🙂

I read MAD magazine regularly from the late 1950's to the early 1970's. I haven't even seen a copy in more than 30 years now. 😱
