I was raised Christian, for the most part. From the time I was nine years old, my family went to church on a pretty regular basis. And during my teens, I was, to put it mildly, a pretty hardcore Christian.
To make a long story short, I stopped going to church regularly during my last years of college. Eventually, I stopped going. I haven't attended a Sunday service in over two years now---though, I did accompany my sister and her boyfriend (now her husband) to a Christmas Eve service the year before last.
I still believe in God for the most part, though I do have on occasion what I like to call "atheist moments." Sometimes I honestly think that the whole concept of God and powerful deities and whathaveyou are just superstitions conjured up by people for various reasons. But then, I regain my spirituality.
Some would tell me that I am on a highway to Hell for thinking this way. But if they do, I will just ignore them.
