Why on earth would you fire Stefon Diggs before his contract was up?

I understand having to get rid of a lot of guys and staff due to being way overbudget but Diggs's contract was still good!

I don't think I'm going to want to WATCH this upcoming season.

If the Bills were willing to eat $31 million just to have Diggs off the team there must have been something seriously wrong. Better to cut our losses. Thanks for the memories, but yea, no point in having him stick around and be a drag on the locker room and Allen. Incidentally, Diggs skipped OTAs in Houston today...read into that what you will. Side note, I’m optimistic about Keon.

Their window is still open because Josh Allen is their QB, but it's tighter now. 2023 really was their best chance.

And until Kansas City gets knocked off, that's the team the AFC will always have to go through.
