Here is a question:

This question is for both 'lees and 'lers.

Lee
What tickle tool makes you tremble with psychological fear when that tool gets near you? Not what tool ACTUALLY tickles the most, but the tool that most plays with your MIND.

Ler
Reverse the question.
What tickle tool(in your arsenal) do you PERFER to use over all others even if it may not get the MOST physical reaction?

Just wondering.

For me:
Lee: being a recent lee, I fear fingers the most, because "I" know what I can do with "my" fingers on a lee and dread what my lers fingers might hold in store

Ler: I love the look on a lees face when I pull out my trusty bottle of baby lotion. (This may not be a tickle tool in the broadest sense, however it did spawn these questions).
The lee knowing my fingers or brush will become much more slick, much more able to slither between toes or other areas that become too senstive without oil.

I am the same in that fingers make me squirm the most. My eyes automatically shut when I see wiggling fingers coming at me, just makes it easier for me to deal with.

An actual tickling tool that will make me tremble would be a sonicare. Hearing the noise when it's turned on and knowing what it's going to feel like drive me nuts.

However, the item that most makes me tremble would be a blindfold. NOT knowing where, or with what the 'ler will attack with will drive me crazy more than anything!

As a lee, there are several. Pens, markers, car keys, and speaker wires make me whine and beg before they even make contact with my feet. Nowhere else are they effective, but I DESPISE them on my soles.

Wiggling fingers are equally effective...especially if they are aiming for my upperbody. I will cringe and curl up in anticipation.

As a ler, it depends on the lee. With most lees I have found my nails strike the most fear in their hearts. With Lazzy, it would either be the sight of my knuckles, or if he sees me whip out the bottle of lotion and our little rubber nubbed glove.

as a lee it's a tie, and neither is the most effective in actual practice; long finger nails, and pretty feet, with red toe nail polish.

as a ler, my favorite tool is my tongue/mouth.

Ahh, there are so many. Quite a few make me grit my teeth, or hold my breath.....😛 ......the pheasant feathers, with their long, stiff quills, a pinwheel, of course, the Sonicare (thanks, so much, McGyverTklr). The teeth of my favorite 'ler, GuitarPeteTklr, under my toes or on my arches have been known to make me kick and yell obsenities, while casting dispersions on his character .
But the worst (best?), very worst, the one that makes me hold my breath, grit my teeth and grip the edge of my chair, is the fork in his hand, in a restaurant, while my poor, bare soles rest in his lap.

If you have a good cockney accent or can do vocal impressions of classic cartoon characters...combined with your currently effective tickling skills...it may amaze and astound EVEN YOU, Lazarus, just HOW quickly and intensely you can then reduce the Meemster to a hyperventilating ticklee consumed by paroxyzms and gales of laughter.

Oh, HE KNOWS Pete. It was one of the very first things he learned about me, and as luck would have it (or would that be BAD luck, for me?) he is every bit as good as doing voices as you are!! He has quite an arsenal, too. Arnold Schwartzanegger (sp?), Bill Clinton, Bush Sr, Ronald Reagan, Squidward, Patrick, several looney tune characters, comic book guy from the Simpsons, and MANY accents (from cheech style mexican to swedish to irish to cockney)...it's amazing. There have been times that he has gotten me laughing SO HARD from the voices and stupid comments alone, that adding tickling to the mix would have sent me to my grave.

Well, as for me, as a lee, the brush they use to clean baby bottles has me panicking before the brush hits my feet. between the toes, I'm a goner. Thank God I hid the brush, but knowing them, they'll just go get another one.

As a ler, I have this Freddy-type glove, but instead of knives, its a combination finger/feather. Drives the missus nuts, like she's talking in tongues or something😀

I enjoy it from both sides and am very ticklish (deathly at times). But, I can't really say that I'm ever fearful of it. Are there things that make me tense in anticipation? Sure...esp. artist brushes. But, fear? NAH!

As a ler, I generally prefer to use my fingers. But, it depends on the lee. I'll go with whatever they seem to be responding to most at the time.

Just to make sure you get the right tool....

McGyver's is a CyberSonic and the attachment of death is the tongue scraper. 😱 As hellish as it is on the feet, toes and under the toenails, the nipples are a target for this impliment that is just down right SADISTIC!!!!!!!
