I don't think it's beating a dead horse as much as it is just a pointless discussion.  Everybody has their personal "best" scene so there's not going to ever be a consensus on a "true" best.  Notice how several people have gone completely off-topic by citing personal experiences, which of course can't even be judged on a group basis.  And comparing cartoons to live-action scenes is pretty pointless IMO.  Even some of the better cartoon scenes have some unrealistic aspect(s) (e.g., Olive hanging by one foot off a girder).
Just enjoy the scenes you like, ignore the ones you don't and let's not argue over a mythical "greatest scene" that doesn't exist even in theory.
