Never happened to me, but then again, I don't usually do those sorts of things without feeling someone out about it first. If I did overstep boundaries and got punched, I'd respect that and not tickle them again. It's only common courtesy.
My brother on the other hand would keep doing it until he destroyed the friendship. If he found out someone didn't like something, he'd keep giving it to them. Like with me it was being startled, and when I'd get angry from the repeated offenses, I could see him smiling like he got pleasure out of pissing someone off. One gal I knew was staying at his place while her apartment was being worked on. He asked her up front 'What's the one thing that bothers you the most?' She said violence against women. A few days later, he started renting violence against women videos. Not tell her what it's about, just say, 'I rented a movie, let's watch it.' A gal gets ubducted by three guys and gets her face repeatedly slapped. Nice guy. She got grossed out after 15 minutes and tried to read in another room of the apartment, but the volume was up and she could keep hearing the slap slap slap. She yelled at him to turn the volume down. 'OK' and dropped it down just a notch so she could keep hearing the slapping. She left the apartment and stayed over at another friends place.
Of course, this is an extreme example. I myself don't associate with the guy any more either, and he kept complaining to our mom that I avoid him, like he's the victim. There's some sick fucks out there.
