So my boss is a late 40's lady with beautiful size 10 feet. We have a fun relationship and sometimes joke around/flirt but it's never gone pass that she is married. I have never told her about my foot/tickling feitsh but she may have seen me glancing at her feet when she wears open toed shoes but I can't say for sure...

Anyways yesterday she pulls her shoe off while wearing socks and says her foot is itchy right near her arch. There were other people around so I tried not to make a big deal
Out of it and tried to control my excitement lol. Then she says scratch it for me would you? in a joking/half serious way. Again I laughed and tried to play it off, then she put her foot closer and says come on they don't smell while she smiled and waited.

Every part of my being wanted to reach out, grab her foot and start tickling. Do you think she was just playing or is it possible she has seen me notice her feet before and is onto me lol?? One part of me is glad I didn't go with it through for fear of being exposed as a tickle/foot fetishist and being embarrassed especially with other co workers around. The other part feels like I may have missed a great oppurunity to finally tickle her and I may never get a chance again lol...how would you have reacted???

Yeah, I'd count that as a missed opportunity. I'm not a foot guy, but if it happened like you said, that sure seemed like she was looking for a response.

She asked you to scratch it, so IMHO you would have been within bounds to do exactly as she asked: scratch it, but not tickle it.

Thanks for the feedback guys, I know deep down I did the "right" thing by leaving it alone but just seemed like she must have known it would get to me and atleast WANTED me to take the bait on some level. Especially when she tried pushing it the second time saying come on they don't smell. If she had just said scratch it once jokingly no bid deal but just seems like she went out of her way to see if I'd react lol. I guess I'll never know

I'm a little confused as well. If she knows about your foot thing, that's pretty damn forward. If not... the what the hell kind of thing is that to do with someone?

If she was asking you to scratch it, then you'd have been in your rights to scratch it....but maybe scratch it softly so that it tickled. If you'd gone for an all out tickle it could have been awkward, but you had her permission to scratch. Here's to another opportunity for you!

No, you don't do it. there are laws regarding such contact - it can be taken as sexual. She may be testing you; you had conversations about your interests, right? Asking to do that while on-the-job, well why not stroke her....(no, wait, that's The Trump). If she offers again, ask if she's willing to do it off the clock......

That's a tough one but I think you made the right call. Keep in mind she is your BOSS and you wouldn't want to do something which could compromise your livelihood and income. Not only that, but she's married, so it would of kinda been immoral to do so. Don't regret your decision; I feel you made the right call here.
