What's It Like To Be a Tickling Producer?

I've always wondered..

If you film at your own home (which I think many of the producers do) what happens if a friend or family member happens to show up unannounced?

Has a relationship ever evolved with any of your subjects, friendship or otherwise?

Have neighbors ever inquired about the parade of beautiful women (or men) entering your home periodically, or have they ever heard the screaming or laughing that follows soon after?

I can only speak of my limited experience (1 year). It's hard. Probably a lot easier if you're single and unattached. Models are great but some can be unreliable. Profit margins are razor thin, although I am guessing that's just my own problem.
Still, I love it and no one knows what the future holds for The TickleShow...

i asked this same question a lil while back. aparently its a lot of hard work and not as enjoyable as u would imagine.

Just some random thoughts/responses/happenings since March of '09...
I'm not in the formal sort of mood... 😛

My experience has been amazing...

Since March, I've only had 1 cancellation, out of 23 shoots...

Definitely don't film at home....I rent a dungeon....to avoid any unnecessary interruptions by police, neighbors, etc. Plus, it's the scene that I enjoy.

Respect is key for starting a venture like this...respect all models, their escorts, and anyone else you come into contact with.
If you don't, you will fail in this business...

I've been quite fortunate...I've become great friends, and will remain friends with many of the model's I've worked with...been invited to their homes for cookouts, parties, etc.

Introducing many models to this fetish has been a blast...in-fact, two of the first time lee's that I've worked with have even started their own fetish companies...one I've assisted w/ the process (and had tons of fun helping her w/ development), one ventured off on her own.

Best advice I can give...Don't do this for the money!
--This way of thinking completely takes the fun out of the endeavor.
--Money will come...but first, you have to believe in what you do, and stand behind your product.

Approach it with a positive attitude...maintain appropriate business etiquette...and apply basic common sense. Do these three things, and one can have a lot of fun with this endeavor, while maintaining peace of mind.

Overall...the experience isn't easy...but well worth it; if you invest the time, the right mind-set, and are passionate about your fetish.

Oooopss...plus, the people I've met along the way have been amazing!
I never would've have had the opportunity had it not been for my involvement w/ the production realm.

Anyhow, enough random thoughts for now. 😀

Thank for your replies! I don't see myself actually producing videos any time soon, though it would be great and maybe something in the future. I was just curious to about that kind of life style.

That's really cool by the way about the models inviting you over for cookouts and stuff! Very, very cool.

And Tickleshow you gotta be more positive if you want to succeed!

I've seen Allanna. You get no sympathy from me, you lucky bastard 😛

Also I can't really imagine it being hard work; the most common complaints I see are about models being a pain in the arse, legal documentation mumbo-jumbo, and difficulty finding places to shoot. By all accounts it's a lot more complex than "find pretty girl, tickle pretty girl, publish movie, PROFIT!!", but "hard work"? Naaaaaw...

I'm sorry, but it is. You simply can't understand how much work is involved unless you actually do it. Give it a try, and then let us know how it really is from personal experience. If you still feel it isn't hard work, well, good for you. But I doubt you'd find it so relaxed as you seem to think.

Well, there are always exceptions, my friend. Allana is special. She was late to the shoot but was so apologetic and so professional after she arrived. She even volunteered to stay a while longer to make a video with Suzie, who was coming in after her, but Suzie was over an hour late, so I told Allana she could leave.
I hope to get her back. We still talk every so often. She's a great girl.
