whats the best feather to use for tickling?

I am with Rhian and Maniac here, I never use the things. Love my fingers and what they can do.

Oh I dunno... I think we know a certain turkey who would beg to differ :jester:

I say the best feather to use would be a large fluffy feather, but ultimately a nice tall large beautiful peacock feather, cause stiff feathers do tickle bad-but you already can anticipate that, whereas a peacock feather is soft and when lightly dragged on the nerve endings it can cause giggles and shivers-goosebumps galore especially if one would be bound, so definitely I would say a peacock feather is the best!!

You're already saying it - a peacock feather is totally ineffective for tickling.

I think it totally depends on the lee. While feathers don't do all that much for me, it does work for others.

I'd have to agree with most others above that feathers don't typically work that well with tickling. Although I've found that a feather run between the toes can get a nice reaction. I don't think it's that critical what type of feather is used. I've used a feather before though as a bit of "foreplay", shall we say, before the REAL tickling actually begins. The anticipation really builds up and that seems to work out really well in the end for a big payoff. :xpulcy:

To me, a Feather gives a different type of tickling sensation. Its more sensual and soft of a feeling and doesn't send me into uncontrollable laughter. Stiff turkey feather worked well for me once but the sensation dies out for me after a while

feathers are good for sexual teasing but not good for any type of tickling fingers do work the best in both areas

Feathers will work on the right person. Only once did I find someone who was truly feather ticklish (Damn if it isn't a rare occurrence though!) If you're going to use a feather, use something with a thick spine, like the aforementioned Turkey or Peacock feathers.

But, I say if you're going to us a tool over your own fingers, get yourself a PDA or Nintendo DS stylus. MUCH more fun.

While I don't have a recommendation for a type of feather I do have a thought on them in general.I looove em.Not only can they set a playful mood but they can also be soooooo erotic. <<<<----<<<<----<<<<----

Being a fellow tickler and being one of the few people left that raise birds, pigeons to be exact and numerous owls and a few crows, hawks and a few chickens, personaly I do use feather from time to time, but fingers do very well also but if you want to use feathers I would recomend the small secondary feathers from the wing right below the long tapered flight feather, they are more rounded and softer then the flights but not as stiff, perfect for beteween the toes but stiff enought to be drawn up and down on the arch or the ball of the foot and drive someone "feather sensitive" up the wall!. Peacock feathers are very nice but agaain it depends on the person weather they are sensitive or extreamly sensitive to the touch.

None...fingers work the best in my opinion 🙂

peace out,
daddy

I have found that feathers can be effective if the lee is extremely sensitive but fingers are much better for tickling.

Purhaps one of big bird's feathers. Of course this was his response last time I asked for one.

I bet all your birds are pretty worried when you come in the room! 😀
