What's the Connection???

It might just be my imagination, but I have noticed that there seems to be a lot of tickle fetishists into professional wrestling.

My own feelings about professional wrestling aside, I thought that some of you might like the opportunity to speculate as to the connection (or if you think there isn't one).

I just have one request -- PLEASE, let's not get into a discussion about the merits (or lack thereof) of professional wrestling. If you post to this thread, please keep your thoughts within the realm of airchair psychology -- that is, speculation as to the psychological connections between one thing and another. If you lack the ability to do that, or you don't know what I mean by "airchair psychology," please either take two seconds to find out (the Internet has lots of stuff besides porno ;-) or move on.

Please DO NOT torture us all with posts like "wrestling's retarded" or "wrestling's fake," or "wrestling's gay," or "wrestling's great."

MODS: a request. If this thread starts to take a nosedive into idiocy, PLEASE just kill it. The fate of nations does not depend on the answers to this question. I just thought it might be fun!

As to the topic at hand, I believe that tickling and wrestling can go hand in hand. My ler and I often wrestle before, and during our sessions. No, we're not pro wrestlers. But, like in wrestling, there is an intimacy involved in tickling. In both sports, there is a high level of physical contact, physical exertion, and, usually, one of the two involved is playing a more dominant role. I could see the correlation a bit...I just hope no one tries busting a folding chair over their ler's head or anything...that might kill the mood...but regardless, yeah, I see a connection...well thought out!!! That's been my observation as well. In fact, the first tickling scene I ever saw in an erotic video was an F/M scene in a mixed wrestling video in which the female wrestler put the male into a hold and was tickling his upper body with her free hand 🙂

In the S.F. Bay area many years ago, there was a mostly-lesbian hangout thinly disguised as a "gym" where members often engaged in playful wrestling as "exercise." I used to socialise there a bit and was occasionally treated to see a "loser" being held down and tickled by the winner and her friends 😉
