Sorry I missed last week ... was super-busy w/holiday stuff.

Anyhoo ... Of Mr. Depp's many films , I'm particularly fond of Jim Jarmusch's Dead Man & of Terry Gilliam's Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas.

I also thought he was easily the best thing about Once Upon a Time in Mexico ... which was just a mess of a movie in my opinion.

So ... whutchoo like?

He was great as the title character in "Ed Wood" and I'll choose that over the PotC trilogy. 😀

What's Eating Gilbert Grape

Sweeney Todd without a doubt...

but since it's rather new...for an older one I'll say Edward Scissorhands

The Libertine.

Anyone who appreciates impeccable face-melting acting should watch this movie.

maybe the next batman movie

theres been Rumblings about him playing "the riddler" in the next batman!

Difficult. I agree Edward Scissorhands was also phenomenal, if haunting,

as was Sleepy Hollow, a favorite "horror" movie :scream:

I've been waiting to savor the Libertine,
Sweeny Todd looks like it'd be especially appealing after a particularly lousy day at work :blackrose:

and there isn't much funnier (or more serious) than portions of
"Benny & Joon." :cuddle:

I don't know how this genuinely eccentric Individual chameleon endured 21 Jump Street... Just a well-oiled springboard 🙂 :ahoy:

Same here.

As usual I can't choose just one.....I love most of his movies, but especially:

-Cry Baby (It's just plain hilarious ok....)
-Sweeny Todd (Singing, Sondheim, gush!)
-Edward Scissorhands (Innocence is sweet..)

I could go on as usual to lol....but you get the idea.

Impossible to choose!!

Too many awesome movies.....

Sweeny Todd
Ed Wood
Nick of Time
Donnie Brasco
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

and, yeah.....he was so hysterical in "Once Upon a Time in Mexico".

Drew

Nightmare on Elm Steet. To me he'll always be the kid that got sucked into his bed.
