Whats your favorite Mini-series or TV Epic?

Mine is and shall always be the Thorn Birds, loved the romance, I cried, Richard Chamberlain on the porch taking his shirt off. Loved it, just thought of it again as it recently came out on DVD, must get me a copy! Oh David, what did you buy me for Valentines day?? or maybe Mother's day...hint hint...

Mine was "North and South"....starring Patrick Swayze as confederate army officer Orry Main.....awesome miniseries 🙂

North and South was a very good epic. Personally, I love ANYTHING by Danielle Steele. Romance with good plot and story lines. Hard to come by in the entertainment world these days.😎

Also liked Terms of Endearment. Great acting by all the major characters.

"V" by far is the best mini-series in the history of television, a truly original alien invasion epic which genius was mirrored in later years by films like Independence Day and Alien Nation.

North and South was good(the books are long but worth the read)...also this one that they show on my local PBS station every once in awhile, called the Forsyte Saga...not sure why but it's interesting to me

I agree with some of these posts. V and Shogun were really good. I also liked Taken, but the ending was a bit...bleh.

the old 1960's "Batman" series, lol, staring Adam West and Burt Ward 🙂 I actually just bough the entire DVD collection of all 120 episodes off E-Bay- I wish i was around when the stuff first came out!! Hmm...perhaps my obsession w/ Robin has something to do w/ it? 😉

Twin Peaks for me, just so many hot girls and a pretty decent plot...even though it got cheezy at times.

Holy socks, Clair! Batman and Robin! I loved that show! Dunno what you saw in Robin though, LOL 😛

I liked Lonesome Dove, which is probably the best movie I've ever seen. It's hard to argue with that one.

But I also liked the Tenth Kingdon, which I thought was vastly underrated. It was creative, orginal, the acting was great, and it was compltely entertaining.

lol, as much as i love a man in tights....(lol, kidding) it's not quite THAT robin im obsessed w/...more along the line of the chris o'donnell robin (pant pant pant) but, c'mon, it would be fun to see the burt ward robin tied up and see how many "holy _____"'s ya could tickle out of him 😉 hehe, but that's just me 😀 that series is just great in itself, though!
