I still have yet to see David Lynch's Wild at Heart & Mike Figgis's Leaving Las Vegas. Both movies appeal to me as I am a fan of both directors' body of work & I've heard good things about each film from very reliable sources , so I'm assuming I'd enjoy them.

Of the 'Nicolas Cage' movies I have seen , the following ones stick out as my absolute faves :

- Adaptation

- Bringing Out the Dead

- Raising Arizona

Adaptation especially. Wow ... that movie is insanely brilliant!

I also got a kick out of Mr. Cage's very , very brief segment in Grindhouse. Was not expecting it & when it hit me , I laughed my A-S-S off.

Raising Arizona is hilarious, I love it.

But I think my favorite was the one where he plays the con man with a twitch and gets taken by the young girl who ends up being a con. What was the name of that??

The Rock...which, unfortunately, The Rock himself was not in.

“Peggy Sue Gets Married” :rowfull:

Seriously though, I really enjoyed his part in “City of Angels”. What’s not to like in a divine being willing to fall from grace for Meg Ryan?

I'll go with National Treasure although I also really liked Leaving Las Vegas. 😀

I'm not a Cage fan, but the Rock was good, Face off was good and Gone in 60 seconds was cool.

does the trailer for "Werewolf Women of the SS" count? that was the shit!!! please tell me you know what i'm talking about... :fingerscrossed:

Ghost Rider 😀

He also had a very small part in "Fast Times at Ridgemont High".

Moonstruck.

I'll shamelessly admit that this is one of my favorite movies.

Con Air and Leaving Las Vegas are tied for second but in first is Face Off: Cage just knows how to play an awesome villain, as does Travolta.

This thread reminded me how many amazing movies he's been in. I guess my top 3 would be:

1. leaving las vegas (not close, his best performance)
2. adaptation
3. raising arizona

sorta want to watch leaving las vegas again now...
