Where are the other gay male tickle fans on this board of 18,000?

Until last night, when I met a second person (a heterosexual) from this board, I assumed that I was the only gay male on it. Now that I have been told that there are 18,000 people registered here, I know that what I believed is statistically impossible.

I wanted to jump for joy when I came across some lesbians here. So I ask, where on earth are the gay guys? I cannot imagine my life without the cool heterosexuals in it, and I am delighted that so many people on this board (including the owners and moderators) are progressive and open-minded. Still, I cannot see myself (at least not yet, in this early stage of my fetish development) tickling or being tickled by a woman or a straight guy. I know what I came here for. 🙂

This site claims to be friendly to M/M discussion, and I have been told by many that the powers that be are glad when "more diverse" people like me join. That makes me very happy--but I cannot be a community of one. If we are all in the closet here, I am leaving. No question about that.

I would rather stay, though.

The forum hasn't got much of a history of having m/m content or discussion, and it's possible that prior to you other gay men came, looked around, and simply didn't linger.

I know that I, and many other producers, have put out a lot of f/f material and if I were a lesbian I would probably find this a fairly rewarding place to browse. Not so much so as a gay man I would think.

I'm glad to see you so actively pursuing this, and I'm just offering a suggestion as to why you might not yet have been reaching the desired audience.

Why not create a seperate M/M section for those fans who enjoy /m tickling. This would be so much more convenient and would attract a wider arrange of tickle enthusiasts. Thanks

MTP Jeff: I have a lot of respect for the people who put this place together and run it. As I am sure I have made clear, if everyone followed their example TMF would be the best site on the Internet.

I will keep bringing up M/M and discussing it even though, unfortunately, I cannot spend as much time on the site as I wish. (I was on yesterday, too, but before that I was away for almost a week.)

About a M/M section: While part of me wants to see that and is tempted to ask (beg), I would hate to be thrown into a ghetto. I prefer speaking to a wide range of people. (But I would not be sad if we did get a M/M section.)

I know that there are gay male tickle sites, but as soon as I see pictures of twenty-year-old men with erections I get turned off. When I want to see that, I can find a sex site, thank you. Tickling means a lot more to me than simply getting off.

In addition, I have yet to see a gay tickle site that offers the type of interesting discussions that this place does.

I also know how to get sex, as I have been out for a long time. But I really have no idea how to negotiate a tickle exchange or find people interested in one. Just being honest. Another reason I hope more M/M people will speak up and say what they do.

Thanks, mart. I searched for M/M when I joined a month ago, and I found some interesting stories on this site. In fact, my first post here was the only M/M tickle story I have ever written. So far it only appears here. When I get time (something I do not always have), I will write and post the F/M story I have in mind as a thank you to all the wonderful people I have met here. (Actually, it's FFF/M.) Eventually, I will write more M/M material.

I hope others do, too.

The wonderful thing about this picture is that it can be seen as tender tickling or intimacy without tickling. I don't think that all of them are straight either. But I think that a lot of them are afraid of being flamed. I mean, I'd never do it, to each his own is my philosophy but I know there are a lot of homophobes around. It's pretty sad really....

At the end of the day, does it really matter who is gay and/or who isn't? I look at sexual preference is being no different than any other personal preference--for example preferring coffee to tea...Pepsi to Coca-Cola, etc. To me, sexual preference is something that should invoke neither shame nor pride. It's just what we like, nothing more, nothing less. What unites us all together here is not our sexual preference but rather our love of tickling. To most here, I think this is what matters, and way more than sexual preference.

I harbored real hatred toward gays and lesbians for along time. It wasn't fear it wasn't my religion either, it was because I was purely sickened by it. I never really beat up anyone, but I just wanted nothing to do with anyone who was gay. I felt about gays the same as I did about pediphiles (sp). I know now that they are people and it is a choice. I wont pretend that I am totally for it but do what makes you happy as long as nobody gets hurt. However, I choose to not be around when two people of the same sex are together.

Knogz: I have so much respect for you and what you posted that I cannot even begin to describe it. I do not have a problem with people who do not want to see same-sex affection in the same room, or even people who do not wish to be close friends with gays and lesbians. All I ever ask is that I be allowed to be who I am free from harm--and that is clearly what you are expressing.

Part of that is my personality, but part of it is, well, my having the same desire for play as everyone else here. My opportunities are limited to choosing from among an extremely small percenage of the human population, however, and in my case it may pay to be in people's faces. Just being honest.

But at the end of the day, no, it does not matter. I love people--all people--not sexual orientations. All sexes/sexual orientations cry and will get comfort from me. And we all need love, however platonic or non-platonic love may be in a set situation.

I have just looked at your profile. Just so you know: I am an ex-Fundamentalist. I do not practice religion today, but I know and love many non-Fundie Christians who accept me as I am. It seems to me that they know something about the love their religion is really about. 🙂
