Where can I find a Greek alphabet stencil?

Hello everyone,

This may sound like a strange and insignificant request, but if anyone has any idea where I can find a Greek alphabet (alpha, beta, gamma, delta, etc.) stencil I'd be very grateful for the information.

By stencil I mean one of those thin plastic plates like those used to draw the contours of geometric shapes, numbers, letters, etc. Nothing fancy, it just has to have upper-case and lower-case letters, maybe 1" high or so. As long as it's not too badly molded and that the letters are Greek. I need it to draw Greek letters with a thin-tip marker.

I've looked around here, and even ordinary letter stencils are hard to find. I can find good ones for shapes and chemistry accessory symbols, but very few letter/number ones. I was told that there are a lot less of those around nowadays because of computers and stuff. Make sense.

Finding one with the Greek alphabet is even harder around here, maybe even impossible. Of course, something like that must exist somewhere. I mean, I assume Greek people use stencils too, from time to time.

If it's not too expensive I may be interested in paying for the stencil and shipping (using a cheap service) if someone can find something like that where they live. It may seem like a silly thing to offer, considering an ordinary stencil might cost only a couple of bucks, but I could really use one and I can't find any here.

If finding an actual stencil isn't possible, maybe someone could send me a stencil-like computer font which includes the Greek alphabet? That way, maybe I could use it as a model to make my own stencil with a sheet of plastic and a sharp X-Acto knife. Though I doubt I could do a very good job of it. I'd rather have a pre-made stencil.

Any help would be appreciated. I can be contacted at [email protected]. Thank you.

I'm terribly sorry, I completely forgot about this request I posted two months ago. Thank you very much for replying. If you can indeed help me with this that would be great. Even if it turns out you can't, I'm still grateful that you took the time to reply.

Ideally I would prefer to have a regular plastic stencil plate. But I don't know where I can get one outside of Greece, and even then, stencils seem to be rather scarce nowadays, what with computers and all. But like I said in my original message, maybe I could use a Greek font as a model to cut out my own stencil. It would have to be a stencil-like Greek font. I've found stencil-like fonts and obviously there are a lot of fonts that include Greek characters, but I have yet to find a Greek stencil-like font.

By the way, the reason I'd like to have such a tool is that it would be very useful for identifying my DVDs. You see, I've finally managed to produce DVD versions of my videos. Now, I would love to use printed paper labels on them, like I do with my CD-ROM versions, but DVD-Rs are more likely to be unbalanced by labels. As much as I hate to write directly on the DVDs, I'm afraid I don't have much of a choice. I wouldn't want to render them unplayable just because of a label.

I don't want to use my own handwriting. That's why I've thought of using a stencil, so it would look a bit neater. I've managed to find a latin alphabet stencil around here, but I found out that writing the titles of my videos, even just the last words (alpha, beta, gamma, etc.) is a pain, as it's hard to write straight with that thing. I'd like to be able to identify my DVDs with a single Greek symbol each.
