Well, just wondering where a lot of you went during this recent downtime.

Or what did you do? Catch up on reading, artwork, sunshine!??!?!

LOL.

I am usually over at the TMF, but I did miss chatting with a lot of folks here, but I found myself relaying messages and such, and still being able to converse with some great people, so as we all come staggering back in here, tell us.

Yup, lingered at the TMF, as well, but mainly stuck to the TT topic there and the chatroom, just to keep up-to-date with things.

Ironically, this inconvenience had turned out quite convenient for me. Had a few tests and such, and it forced me to study more. Woo. xD

I've been hanging around the TMF primarily, yearning to hear good news concerning the current domain name crisis. Just now found this link, which certainly qualifies! You never know how much you miss something till it's gone for a couple of days... happy to be home again, and hope for further encouraging developments as the days continue.

Spent my "forum time" (I'm not online all day) at the TMF. I hang around at both forums, really. But I do hope the domain name thing gets resolved eventually. This place is kind of a virtual home for me. 🙂

Thank you for the welcome, Venray and all the folks at TMF---I was afraid that all the latest crap being thrown between the forums would be a problem, but they really came through for us. It's good to know that in times like this we really do have a SISTER site. You guys really came through for us, thank you!!!

As for what I did, I panicked XD I ran around MSN asking questions, then ran over to TMF to see if they had anything--and they did. I bookmarked the page concerning TT on TMF, and today I was lucky enough to have Senshi go to TMF while I was here at school and find out the new domain name. I'm taking a risk being here, but it's worth it!!! WE'RE BACK! :super_hap

Good luck getting the old TT domain name back, but as Jim Kirk once said, it's the people, not the ship. I missed you guys!!!!!! *huggles all around*

We are all part of the same community...99% of the TMF has absolutely no problem with TT or its members..there are a few loudmouths that like to cause friction between the sites and within the community because that is how they get their jollies...I tend to ignore them as I know better...
I was around when your founder started this site....he was worried that TMF people would be angry that another was being formed, but that was NOT the case...he got a lot of support from everyone....

Tracy and I even started out helping with the picture sections until life got in the way and we didnt have the time any more.....

So dont ever worry about coming to your friends when you need information or just want to vent or chill....


And my dear Melanie....I miss your reactions to my blonde jokes and will hang out here more often...

Whoa! The smileys ARE rather twonky, aren't they? Well, small price to pay to be back in our comfy little digs. I was off yesterday, and had little to do, so was over to the TMF alot. I too kept mainly to our little refugee enclave there, and was similarly delighted in the hospitality of our sister board. There WERE a couple of snarky posts, but as Venray says, the vast majority there were quite welcoming, and it's truly great to know that there's a place we can converge on should this sort of nonsense happen again. I would hope that should something happen to their site anytime, that we here would show them the same sort of kindness.

I was really impressed with the speed of the TMF site, along with the gazillion kick-ass emoticons. Uploads were a breeze, and there were tons of interesting articles. Great place!
