Where does tickling fall?

I have been a member of this page for a long time and check it almost everyday. Just out of curiosity a check to see how many members there are, and if i am reading it correctly i see 86,436!

My question is where does tickling fall under the common fetishes? My guess is that it would have to be up there with feet and spanking, or at least in the top 10. has anyone seen any research on this?

A lot of those accounts are dead, unconfirmed, or spambots. Not to mention the amount of people that have multiple accounts.

I have to agree that it's probably on the top of the list somewhere.

Fetishes and sexual deviance, given the taboos that are associated with them, are damn near impossible to categorize and survey. It's hard to gather any credible, reliable information about it. It's a whole academic field waiting to be plundered.

I choose to guess based on how frequently and prominently I see tickling fetishes catered to in the market. Even if fetishists are secretive and anonymous, market forces can tell us a lot - and I see tickling material featuring prominently in many of the top fetish sites, like clips4sale. So obviously, a lot of it is being sold, which could mean there are a lot of us compared to other fetishes.

I'm inclined to think it's at least in the top
25 maybe a little higher or lower. I have
heard that many foot fetishes are also into tickling.

I have to say that ever since I got on the internet,
sometime back, that I've learned about fetishes that I
never in a million years would have thought people would
have.

A couple of weeks ago a good friend of mine and I were having
drinks and he in a quasi drunk state confessed to me a fetish he
has. Blew my mind. I've never heard of it or would of thought this
guy to have any fetishes. I didn't pass judgment because it really isn't
that bad, plus my whole tickling thing makes me more tolerant of
other peoples interests.

Long story short I agree with LD_Tickler's above statement.

There are a lot of different fetishes and turn ons floating around.

Makes me realize tickling isn't so bad when compared to other things
and makes me feel more normal. Ha Ha.

Sure, there's a lot of people that go here, but AnnieHall and LD, basically summed it up.

In my opinion, most of the people go here for the foot action, or whatever. Yeah, I'm most likely wrong, but I don't care. That's just how I feel, but I would find it hard to believe that it'd be in the Top 10.

It's in the top eight.

Back in the pre internet days the porn companies produced very little fetish material for mass market sale directed at folks that had tastes beyond regular sex. But if $'s could be made they would.

They found it worthwhile to produce:

Bondage videos
S&M videos
Spanking Videos
Water sports Videos
Tickling Videos

This meant the market was big enough for them to make money off of producing videos for these groups. Tickling seemed to be the last thing that made the cut. So there are a good number of 'us' out there.

Today the TMF is ranked as the busiest of the sexually oriented web sites on the entire internet by some ranking services. So again, we have a big base in our fetish.

So we rank very high.
