Which do you think is worse?

Trying to tickle someone and finding out they're not ticklish.....

.....or tickling someone and have them say that they absoluately hate being tickled?



I've had both happen to me over the past couple days, and I can't decide which is worse.

How about trying to refrain tickling everyone you get close to until you know them better?
Tickling someone who isn't ticklish isn't so bad. Tickling someone who hates being tickled, well, that's on you.

Both doesn't bother me as a lee, but I'd say it's easier for a ler to be with someone who isn't ticklish than with someone who is and hates it. The chance of getting bitchslapped is smaller.

Its definatley worse if they hate being tickled. Any sort of advance is usually received with anger. At least if you're tickling someone who simply isnt ticklish they may still find it fun.

I also prefer, that they're not ticklish, then they're at least not angry. If they hate it, you risk that they're your enemy now.

finding out they aren't ticklish, cause then I cant even fantasize about tickling them non consensually for hours... there would be no point

If they arent ticklish, i have no interest in them, so not being ticklish is far worse.

Being not ticklish is better. Because people who hate it suck! Even if you tickle them accidentally in the future, they never believe you and over-react.

i think them hating it is worse it is like being Tantalus in Greek myth - the water is right there and when you reach for it, it recedes. They are ticklish, you could get the reaction you crave, but you would be in trouble. Worst.

Plus i really think that there has to be a sensitive spot SOMEWHERE on everyone, that gets at least a little squirm, even if they arent wildly ticklish. This could very well be idealistic and ignorant on my part and im okay with that.

Them hating it is worse for me. Not ticklish, no big deal, that's what sensory deprivation, bastinado, caning and roasting are for haha.

If I can't do something I'd rather it be cus there's no point, not cus she doesn't want it.

Not ticklish because id feel stupid just trying then finding out they weren't ticklish. The other is hard but you can still give it a shot, get to the reason why.

My sentiments exactly, including from the other perspective. My ex admittedly never really went to town on my feet, but they didn't seem that ticklish compared to my sides; nevertheless, I relished every second of it. Just because someone doesn't thrash and scream, doesn't mean they don't FEEL it, so like you said they may still enjoy being "tickled".

I would think it would suck more to be with someone who just isn't ticklish . . . cuz no matter what you do, you can't really change that fact. I can always hold out hope that the frigid woman who hates being tickled would be willing to indulge getting tickled to make me happy.

Then again, it would be agonizingly painful to have such a ticklish woman & never be able to tickle her. And if she can't come around & change her mind about being tickled, she ain't the one for me & I'd show her the door!

So for me, option B would be worse...

Tough question, but I have to say "Trying to tickle someone and finding out they're not ticklish" is worse. Because in the past the people I meet that aren't ticklish are always boring and the type of person I don't like being around.
