Excuse my ignorance if this is already common knowledge, but I have recently discovered that there are two types of tickling fetishism- knismolangia and acarophilia. Knismolangia is the "experience of sexual gratification from the act of tickling" whereas acarophilia is a "general love of tickling and being tickled" I found this highly amusing, as I almost purchased a "knismolangist" shirt from Cavum's tickling merchandise store last week when I am infact, according to wikipedia, an acarophiliac lol

So, i was just wondering, now that we have a clear distinction...which one are you?? 🙂

All knismolagniacs are acarophiles, but not all acarophiles are knismolagniacs.

My first instinct is to say "The Tao that can be named is not the true Tao", but as I would guess that doesn't make sense to most of the normal people I meet I would just go with both types. I think i am the "Knismolangia" with some one I love, not to say that tickling in general is not erotic to me anyway, but it would not be sexually gratifying with anyone but a special woman.

That's interesting! There's really specific scientific terms for tickle fetishes! As for which one I am, I don't know, I guess it depends on the situation. If I were tickling or being tickled by a girl I was sexually attracted to it'd be the first one (sexual gratification) but otherwise, it'd just be general love of tickling...
