To address the point of this post, I don't watch soaps, as such. The only serial I regularly watch is "Coupling".

I've watched General Hospital a few times over the years....enough to know the characters; especially before I got Webtv in 2000. When you work at night, there isn't much selection when you are awake (thank God for the internet). My dad works in law enforcement (also works a lot of evening and night shifts, esp. when he was younger), and back in the late 70's-early 80's, he was a huge GH fan....back around the time Luke and Laura were married (then poor Laura was kidnapped by the "sadistic" David Gray 😀

Only soap I used to watch was the short lived "Sunset Beach"..was a great program for the sick sence of humor minded as myself
