I was going to ask about the girl in the tub; it looks as if she's banging her head against the faucet. 😕

I've been to several gatherings: two SBGs; two NESTs; Memphis (has anyone heard from lilkittykatfeet lately?); CAT (Ann and Drew are EVIL! 😀 ); and NYST. I think gatherings are a great way to meet others ticklephiles because there's no pressure to do anything; you can just socialize if you like. I also think that one of the reason people prefer to go to gatherings, as opposed to meeting one-on-one, is the sense of safety in numbers. Once people meet at a gathering, then I think they feel more comfortable with meeting privately.

As an aside, BigBrownEyes, I think you would be a fun person to meet. 🙂

I have met well over 50 from the online TK community, including my fiance, Lazarus. Out of all of them, only one was of questionable character, and fortunately it was within a group setting where the person posed no threat to anyone.

I have every intention of meeting as many more as I possibly can while the community still exists. Some truly great people out there, and many great friends and good times to be had!

I'm not to sure whether I should be proud or ashamed of this, but as far as tickle sessions go, I'm still a virgin. I've always had that slight fear that if I pick someone up off the net, they'd turn out to be some homicidal maniac and kill me when I was completely helpless before them. I guess I'm just paranoid. But you know what they say, just because I'm paranoid, doesn't mean that the cuddly pink bunny rabbits of the apocalypse aren't following me.

Lite - Thank you, I think you'd be fun to meet too 🙂 There's certainly nothing wrong with gatherings, I just never felt like it would my style or preference. I consider tickling an intimate, extremely fun indulgence that can be shared with friends, as well as lovers. The thought of a big gathering of ticklephiles sounds overwhelming. But I'd never rule anything out. I've only met one member of this community, and met some others from the message boards of yesteryear. But I'm always open to meeting other ticklephiles. I just wish it was easier.

Blackmoon - The girl in the tub really disturbs me. Its reminds me of a nightmarish image from one those bizarre horror movies. But it's a free country and I suppose controversy is a good thing.

I have met a couple, one in particular. Went to one gathering. Used to be a tad more active in the tickling community. The one gathering I went to had a surprising number of normal people. Heck, I'm one of them! Now, if there were only more women into upper body tickling.... 😀
