Who here is publicly open about their fetish?

Do you happily tell people you like feet, have a thing for tickling? or do you hide away and not tell anyone anything?

I myself am very shy, in all conversations foot fetish being mentioned is always viewed as weird, gross or strange and so I keep my head down or join in the laughs at it as well. What I really want to do is be open enough, at the right time to catch the attention of some girl that might also share this sexy passion we all have here. I have told one of my ex's but as she didn't have a fetish too, we never connected on it and it made me feel weird once more.

What's the situation with you? are you open and if so how's that going for you?? Male or female please answer 🙂 🙂

I try to weave that shit into a conversation down the line with a lady, if I intend to go that far with her. Other than that, nah I don't really tell people. It's none of their business.

I guess, if you want to publicly defend a fetish if people are mocking somebody, you could say "at least he doesn't piss on people" or something. I don't know, I don't really give a shit about what other people think.

Half and half for me. I'm very publicly open about the fact that I have a lot of kinks, and some of the more vanilla ones like bondage are very common knowledge. I don't go into too many specifics, though, because for the vast majority of people in my life, it'd be TMI. It's a bit intimate - I don't think they really care to know even if I did tell them. I have told people (vanilla people) about my tickling fetish in the past, and have been met only with a gigantic wave of pure indifference.

Which struck me as odd, because I find that stuff endlessly fascinating, but there you go.

I'm pretty much open about my foot and tickle fetishes, considering there are worse things out there people can be into and liking feet/tickling is basically so bottom-tier in comparison... Not to mention hiding it will prompt people to try to find out what you're trying to hide and tease you about it once they learn your secret while threatening to make it public, had that happen in high school and eventually learned to just stop caring.
Since they're harmless kinks, why go out of my way to make it top-secret?

I've actually done better being more open about it, I've had girls sometimes ask me for a footrub knowing I wouldn't mind or asking me my opinions if their feet look nice or anything for a little ego boost.
And really, tickling is like a bizarro, softcore version of S&M where nobody gets hurt and I'm sure nearly everyone was subjected to tickling at one point in their lives.

Just as long as you don't act like a total creep and are respectful to others when it comes to your fetish, I don't see why there's anything to fear.

If anyone makes fun of you or asks you why you like feet, my usual response is "why do you like boobs or butts? If you can answer that, there's your answer. And don't tell me 'because it's normal', that's a cop-out answer"... or if they remark that feet are dirty or smelly, I respond with "do you like butts? You DO realize butts poop, right?"

I'm finding myself a bit more open about it now, in that I sometimes tell close friends about it (maybe around a half dozen know about it by now), though if I don't feel the urge to tell someone, I won't even bother. In the past, telling people was almost like an adventure for me - and a scandalous one a that! Just telling my then-girlfriend, now-fiance about my fetishes 'bout seven years back was like trying to crack a walnut with tweezers. I think her positive reactions to my telling her opened me up to telling others I've wanted to way easier down the line; perhaps having very positive experiences like that is what helps others with that transition as well.

Though there are still some fetishes I have trouble coming to terms with even for myself, 'til this day - some of the more quirkier ones even than tickling, if you can imagine that. x)
