I,am a driver (mans world) and currently my boss is a woman, (sort of love hate situation)
^My experience:
1. I have worked for great bosses; both, men and women.
2. I have worked for shitty bosses; both, men and women.
My conclusion: They both can be equally - great or shitty.

Yep. Gender has nothing to do with it in my experience.
I hope I NEVER work with another female boss again in life!
Too catty, too competitive, and some are way too mannish for my liking. Feel the need to dominate and control; I'm not that kind of employee. I've always gotten along much better with male bosses. At least if you have an issue, they'll hear you out; not with the females.
To each his or her own I guess, but I definitely have my preferences.
This. I have had a couple male bosses and a couple female bosses.
I have had nothing but bad experiences with female managers. The most recent one I worked for could best be described as: overly ambitious, duplicitous, superficial, unpredictable, and catty.
Well, as a female boss... I'm more than a little biased. I had a female business partner. Hated that. Had male bosses. Not a fan (and usually it was their wives running things). Much better to be my own boss. No gender issues 🙂

Men. I like the whole sleeping with the boss thing. 😉
