Well as for as GOD and religion go, the Bible says that everyone is sinful from birth, at this point people can't do physically anything, so mental thoughts can be considered sinful.

Doesn't that sound a bit hopeless to you? I mean, you can ask for forgiveness, but you're essentially asking to be forgiven for being born. Personally, I find that to be a very degrading perspective....

Both sexes are to blame, if you want to use the word "blame" at all. Also, don't think for a second that it doesn't fall the other way around. Your a fool if you don't think women do the same thing and from what I'm seeing/hearing these days, women are becoming more like the guys( players ) everyday. I'm not saying it's wrong or right, it's just happening. Women will use their body, clothes and men will use their position, money. Simple fact. People said it here earlier. Men are more so on a visual plane, women are more on a mental plane.

Religion has NO part of it what-so-ever. Religion is a belief,based on stories which may or may not be true...and nobody here is old enough to know the real truth of everything that happened from the begining of time, so you can rule out it being a sin. Humans, by the way, aren't the only things on this earth to have sex for purposes other than pro-creation. A study showed that dolphins also do this... the horny little buggers, lol.

I also saw in here that Howard Stern is to blame. You have to be kidding me. This stuff has been going on waaaaay before he was born, so to blame him or any other media person is rediculous. All they do is say/show their feelings. Nobody is forced to watch or hear these radio/tv shows. Yes they exploit the issue for money but again, nobody is forced to watch or listen so don't tell me millions of people all of a sudden became this way because of a radio/tv show.

So in closing. Most...MOST people know what they are doing to attract the opposite sex. It's usually when a person that they don't find attractive and makes a some sort of come on, that they find it offensive.

I think that if a woman wants to show off her body, she's welcome to, and there's nothing wrong with that. I think that, to a certain extent, she must prepare herself for certain reactions, of course--staring is a bit rude, but she's going to get some appreciative glances (or, ah, quite the opposite, depending upon the circumstances).

That said... I don't see how this in any way implies that another woman can be publicly ogled in the same fashion, and I don't think it automatically bestows some sort of divine permission to make presumptions, stare extendedly, or assume that permission is there for physical behavior.

More guys need to learn to control their dicks.

Men like to show off their bodies too. The only reason it's not as big a deal is that the majority of women handle men putting on displays far more maturely than is true in the reverse situation.

When I started this thread, I was really wondering why do men get all of the blame when women are inviting men to ogle them? I don't mean sex, I just meant looks. It seems many women enjoy very much being viewed as sex objects. They try to make guys stare. A few people have said women are just as responsible as men, but a few are still saying it's the man and his desire for sex. I'm not saying it's not at least partly men's fault, but do you really think it's all mens fault?

I definitely see women as sex objects, as anyone who has seen my other posts knows. When I see a hot looking woman, I just want to get my hands on her. I have no desire to find out her name, where she lives, what she does for a living, etc. To go up to a woman in a bar or something and try to PRETEND like I actually give a damn about any of that stuff, or care about even having a conversation with her about anything, is so boring to me as to be torture. Especially when she's obviously so hot looking and I'm so horny, or else I wouldn't even be paying any attention to her in the first place. I don't know if anyone is "to blame" for this, I think its just my personality. Ain't I a stinker?

I can appreciate and respect your honesty, but this is a pretty sad way to live. There's more to life than sex and you're missing out on a lot of it in order to avoid intimacy and not allowing anyone in your world. It's like JayZ's "change clothes and go" theory-jump in the bed and jump out. It impresses me as an empty existence in the long run.

Now to answer the initial question.....

People have made sex top priority in society today. Sex is used to sell anything from cars to chewing gum. Many women have reduced themselves to using sex for money but on a different scale. Examples include Beyonce doing a bump and grind on the floor of an awards show, J Lo's "jenny from the block video" with Ben Affleck all over her barely-covered behind. These new Levis jeans commercials with borderline aneorexic girls getting their jeans pulled off by a dog while she's in a tree. I personally find all of this disgusting, but obviously many in society think it's okay by buying the products. There are little girls and boys watching who consider these people role models. This mess ends up perpetuating itself and the bottom gets lower with each generation.

I have little respect for women who dress too provocatively. It's not necessary to do that if you concentrate on what's between your ears and less on what's between your legs. I have absolutely no respect for men who cat-call and hurl vulgarities at women they find attractive or feel it's their job in life to publically humiliate a woman they find unattractive. It is okay to admire someone you find attractive and catches your eye, no need to act like an idiot about it.

Beauty and sexuality are in the eye of the beholder and there is someone out there for everyone. But if people weren't so fixated on sex they could have more fulfilling and meanifngful relationships. I'd rather have a person in my life who treats me like a queen than someone who can rock me in bed, but treats me like garbage. If he needs help in that area, I'd be more than glad to teach him what I like physically. It's easier to teach him that than to teach him how to treat me as a person.

I'm sorry you had such a bad experience, however....

This woman had no rights when she got arrested for domestic violence. Since my ex was smaller than me, they believed him when he said I started the fight. I guess the broken arm I gave him didn't help matters very much. I don't know who's giving women all these "rights" you are talking about. When I needed rights and compassion, they were given to someone else who didn't deserve them.

Yes, you have women who have taken the sexual harrassment stuff way too far. There are always going to be people who abuse the system, and they tend to get away with it too. Women's rights have improved over the years, but, until I see a woman in the White House as opposed to the jackasses that have been running it, I'd say we're far from arrival.

Yes, you have a lot of women who are stupid enough to consistently involve themselves with losers. Has a lot to say about what they think of themselves.

For instance, you see a girl you're attracted to, and the feeling is mutual, and one day you ask her what she wants in a man. And she tells you, and it just so happens you have all these characteristics she's looking for, but she won't get in a relationship with you, she would rather go for the man who has less than half of what she wants, and all the garbage and drama that goes with it. But then she'll come back to you and tell you her problems. Then the guy is like "damn, I am the one who can make you happy, but we can't kick it because I'm just your 'friend' Why is that? can someone explain that one to me??

What women say they are looking for for an ideal mate doesnt mean thats what they really want. women want a man whos exciting and confident. he could have all the traits she says shes looking for but still be a complete bore.
