Why are the 5% allowed to ruin life for everyone else?

Recently at my new job, at a casino, my boss was talking about the rules, and how we should handle customers. If they give too much trouble, call a manger, or security, and just throw them out. We don't deserve to be abused. Few jobs have that policy, if you make minimum wage, and the customer wants to bully you, or shoot you, the managers could care less. I was almost attacked by a big guy one time because he acused the theater of stealing his whiskey flask - which is illegal to bring into a movie theater anyway. The management hid and watched from upstairs behind locked doors, but for whatever reason the guy didn't hurt me and left. Then they came downstairs after he left, and they wre safe.

We all know that most of the restrictions on freedom and our lives have to do with the actons of a few retards. My boss at the casino said "We don't make rules based on the 5% of troublemakers, we make them on the 95% who are nice and polite." I swear, I have never heard that policy anywhere, ever. Why can't that be the universal policy? No, instead, if some idiot kid gets hurt on the slide because he dives off on purpose, we take down the slide for everyone else.If some woman burns herself with hot coffee, McDonalds is sued for millions and warning labels have to be put on all coffee from now on.

Why can't we just tell the 5% of stupid people THEY are wrong, and have to just deal with it?

I think it's indicative of the abandonment of responsibility that pervades our society at the moment, mabus. We've become a cult of the Victim, and eventually we all pay for ridiculous jury decisions in one way or another.
Not sure how to reverse the trend, but there has to be a limit somewhere...hopefully we're approaching it rapidly. Q

That goes for idiots who happen to be employed in a place as well. I remember a home care case I was on a few years back. I was the aide co-ordinator for the case as the original person there and a family friend of the patient. One of the outside aides to be assigned was physically abusive to the patient. I happened to have walked in on it.

Did I ask him what he was doing? NO! Did I ask the patient if he wanted this jerk out? NO! Did I wait to go through "proper channels"? NO! What DID I do? I grabbed the asshole by the back of the neck with one hand, grabbed his coat with the other and shoved him out the door...kicking him in his sorry ass as I let go. THEN I called the agency to report him. Needless to say, he was fired immediately.

We really need to stop being chickenshit about stuff and just deal with things appropriately as they arise. Too many people are needlessly hurt while we wait for things to be processed by the rules. Someone breaks into my house and threatens our lives, that person is a dead man. I'm not waiting to try to talk him down or have the police try to do something. We'd be dead by then.

Stupid rules are meant to be broken! Proper rules should be properly enforced. End of debate.

Add to the above the sort of person I like to call a "complainulator." A complainulator is somebody who, for example, has fifty bucks in his savings account when it's clearly stated that they charge you a fee for having less than $100 in the bank. When he gets the fee, he says, "You mean I'm paying you people to keep my money here?"

I think we should clone her and make her copies work at every store. That would solve at least 60% of this bullshit right then and there! Also, when I'm president I'm going to select a group of people from each state, and i'm going to give them a branding iron. Upon seeing a Complainulator, I'm going to have them brand "JACKASS" onto said complainulator's forehead. Phase two will be shipping the morons to a remote island. Then I'll need a shrink ray so I can shrink them down to miniature size and make them fight spiders and other bugs for my amusement. Not only will it give them something to bitch about, but their tiny little voices will be inaudible through those glass jars i'll keep them in!

As for me being a badass...😀 I'm actually VERY patient and understanding...UNTIL someone goes too far. I can laugh at myself until I'm blue in the face. I can do the same laughing with others. But, you cross the line to attacks...physical or otherwise...and I don't sit back and take it. When someone messes up because they didn't know any better, that's fine. I'm all for learning from our mistakes. When they mess up in order to be nasty and rank on others, look out! When a customer comes into a place for the express perpose of being a poop, I say let them eat their own sh**. I sure won't! lol

Other classic cases are the murderer who sued police for holding him in custody for 6 hours more than they should have before charging him. Said case was contested entirely with taxpayers money AFTER he had been convicted of 6 murders!

The burglar who sued the shit out of a single mother because when scaling her roof, he fell through a skylight and injured himself on a kitchen knife she'd left on the table.

The motorist who gets clipped by a bicycle and then claims umpteen thousand pounds for whiplash injuries.


May these people who blight society and drive up insurance premiums for normal people contract virulent syphilis, that won't be diagnosed until their nose falls off and their balls turn black.
