Why do producers close stores?

I've always wondered, why when they decide to stop creating content do they not leave the stores open? Does C4S charge for "active" stores, or is it more a courtesy to the models to not have long forgotten tickleporn of them available years after the fact?

With a few exceptions; remember dumbtch dickler(whatever his username was)? Distributors, outside of that are mostly cunts. They are middle-people, "we cannot produce shit," but we will store and salvage your product with commercialization. Basically, they are making money for storing data, and doing nothing.

Good question... C4S strongly advises us to upload at least one new clip each month, so I assumed our store would be deleted after I had long failed to meet the deadline. All of our clips are deleted, yet the store still remains. PoPro might go back into business if not for one of the biggest reasons we closed shop in the first place: We can't find models to save our lives here!
