I've noticed a trend from several people I've chatted with of being married to non tickle friendly partners? It seems like the relationships are good otherwise. For me, it was shame and loneliness. A true feeling of being the only tickle/foot fetish female ever, and that no one was into "that". I'm just curious why we do it, and how to make that life happy.

In my case I was married before my fetish blew into full gear. But it still is not a problem. I knew there are other people around who are into it, and it doesn't bother me that my husband isn't.

I think theres a real difference between being "into it" and simply accomodating it into your bedroom relationship. For me, I'm completely fine with my partner not having a full blown fetish in line with mine, as long as they accomodate me and dont make me feel like a lunatic for liking what I like. I know its easier said than done, but seriously, tickling is not the worst fetish to have in the world.

Though in answer to your question specifically, I think we just naturally gravitate toward those that fulfill us in more ways than just the sexual. There's more to life than sex, however primal we may be. I think the connection outside the bedroom is what satisfies us most in the long run. Thats why we stick with it.

its all about acceptance. i know alotta the girls i was with hated being tickled but i would still tickle them just not to any point where it was tortuous for them

Honestly, I think a lot of people don't realize just how important/strong their fetish is, until they are already in a committed relationship.

I'm another one who got married before the fetish kicked in. All I know is hubby has no problems tickling me. Even when my interest in it seems to ebb and flow, the marriage is still rock solid. Any problems we had didn't stem from me liking to be tickled and him not. He's not even ticklish, and I'm ticklish enough for the two of us. It's like anything else, I think. Sexual likes that one partner may be into and the other one isn't. You don't instantly have to say no. Just something you do for your partner because you love them. Whether it's tickling, giving blow jobs, or taking it up the ass.

This raises an interesting question. Is it much easier for a lee to persuade the other party to tickle than for a ler to persuade the other party to tolerate being tickled?

This one resonated the most with me. Good topic!

And did your relationship with any of those girls develop into something longer term? Or was a long term relationship not your goal?
Didn't you start a thread on here about some girl you were interested in who was extremely ticklish but said she hated being tickled? How did that work out?
Have you figured out how to meet and get involved with people into tickling?
