Why Do You Exist ?

All of us from time to time wonder why were here , what part as an individual do we play , if not just for ourselves but more importantly for others . We are born , we live and we die . For to some it may seem like an eternity and to others as if a drop in the bucket , There's a purpose for all of us , not all identical , but a shared purpose all the same ......... For in death , is your lifes existence preserved , those interactions , the goodness , and all the love ?

I think my purpose in life is to do right by others. I'm all for standing up for the underdog. I'm a strong woman and can use my strength to help others grow stronger in many different ways. It makes me feel happy to know that I helped someone or made them feel happier 🙂

To be a protector.

From very early in life, I knew that my role in life was to protect those who had no other protector, especially women and children. I've done it all my life.
It's why I'm in a wheelchair today. It's why I damn near got killed a few weeks ago. It's why there are old scars all over my arms, legs and body.

My niece says that at my age and condition it's time to stop. She says she wants a live uncle, not a dead hero. But I can't seem to just not act when I see something bad happening that I know I can stop. It's too much a part of who I am. The question of 'can I survive doing it?' never seems to occur to me until after the fact.

I'm here because my parents apparently decided to try having sex without a condom. Taught them a lesson I suppose! 😉

I exist because two particular sperm and egg cells from my parents happened to get together and produce a viable human being. There's no reason for my existence other than chance.

But as long as I'm here, I hope to cross paths with many other people, such that their lives are better for having touched mine. 🙂
