Lol, I was in Florida a lot of years ago, in Epcot Centre oddly enough, and one of the dudes working there knew exactly the city I was from just by my accent, which I thought was quite cool. I love Florida 🙂

Also, while the Queen has no real "active" power, her conventions still exist. She's the one who's supposed to have the last word in going to war, she can stop bills and statutes from becoming laws and she both summons and dissolves Parliament. While her ministers are under no obligation to follow her instruction, and she hasn't exercised them in many years, I wonder what'd happen if she did...
 
Well, we all speak the same language, of course.

Another good thing about the English, We Americans haven't fought a war against you guys in (coming up on) 200 years. I don't think there're many (if any) other countries that we haven't fought since, ither dirctly or indirectly. Hell, we Americans can't even say that about our selves....
 
everything is better in an english accent...like when my mom says damn or fuck you, i never take her seriously cuz it just sounds so ridiculous XD

British pubs are top notch in terms of Atmosphere. As soon as you walk it, you're welcomed with a friendly feel (not literally, of course. 😛)

I love to go to the pub and have a couple of pints with my locals. Haha!
 
I nearly forgot...England (and well, most of Europe for the matter) makes some pretty catchy techno/trance beats

Lol, I won't argue with the pub atmosphere, but sometimes it comes at a cost. One of my favourite pubs around where I live is really good for decent rock music - got a great jukebox. Only problem is that the gents is forever swimming in about half an inch of piss on the floor. No sandal wearers in there 🙂

But yeah, it's good stuff, especially when there's a World Cup on or something and England are playing! Then the crowds come out and you get to scream in unison at the screen instead of doing it at home 😀

which reminds me. live in Florida and you can get a Farmer's tan without doing any farming.

heck, my right arm is twice as dark as my left simply because i ride shotgun more than i drive.

it takes skill to be pale in Florida.
 
I can vouch for Norm XP; and I normally keep myself indoors most of the time due to the heat and I have a bit of a farmer's tan
