Why does it tickle Don Turtelli using feathers?

Isn't it more efficient to tickle with a finger?
Or are feathers the most efficient tickling to bare feet?

People are ticklish to different sorts of stimuli. Some are very sensitive to light touches (an ex a wrote about in the true story section), while others are more sensitive to slightly stronger touches.
Tickling is also not purely about how effective you are. You must also take into account your partner, your 'lee, and try to give them pleasure as well. I know a girl who is horribly ticklish. She couldn't possibly stand being tickled on her feet by fingers, let alone something as lethal as a hairbrush. However I have always wondered if a lighter tickle, such as a feather, might maybe even be enjoyable to her.

Fingers usually work best but some people, like myself, are very feather-ticklish... feathers can be just as effective.

i can tell you that feathers can be very effective, especially in some spots, in my experience. i think they add a teasing thing that can work very good. anyway every person is different, for someone work, for others don't

From my experience, feathers may work between the toes and for light playful tickles. Often though they do not provide enough stimulation to break the threshhold. As always, your mileage may vary, given the 'lee and situation. If you have seen any of the Cannelli Renfaire clips, the feathers seem to generate the least ticklish sensation for a stocked damsel when compared to the fingers and the electric(Braun?) toothbrush. I agree with deadlywithfeathers and others that his namesakes are a cartoon cliche tickling tool with the feet usually being the tickle target.
